Thermal Cut-out Device
The Climate Cube is fitted with a thermal safety cut-out device, built in to
prevent it from overheating. Should the Climate Cube start to overheat, the
thermal safety cut-out system will automatically operate and the heat settings
will switch off. If this happens:
STEP 1: Switch off the Climate Cube by pressing the power switch on the
bottom of the back panel.
STEP 2: Unplug the Climate Cube from the mains power supply and allow it
to cool for approx. 15 minutes.
STEP 3: Clear any blockages present in the vent, being careful not to
cause damage.
STEP 4: Plug in and switch on the Climate Cube at the mains power supply.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertently tripping the
thermal cut-out, this Climate Cube must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer. Nor should it be connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
Care and Maintenance
Always unplug the Climate Cube from the mains power supply and allow to cool
sufficiently before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
Wipe the Climate Cube with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning solvents, as these may damage the finish
of the Climate Cube.
Do not immerse the Climate Cube in water or any other liquid.
To remove the fibre-paper filter for cleaning or replacement, the front grill
should be carefully removed. To do this, remove the grill screw from the top
of the grill using a cross-head screwdriver. The control dial should then be
turned to the cooling function so that the filter is accessible. By carefully
pulling the white tab on top of the filter, the filter can be removed. Rinse
under cold clean water and replace the filter back into the main unit. To
properly fit the filter, place it back inside when the control dial is on
‘fan’ mode to avoid it falling back into the filter frame. Carefully replace
the front grill, making sure not to damage the grill fins, and replace the
grill screw.
