Instructions for use

Assembling the heated airer
Before plugging the heated airer into the mains power supply, the heated airer needs to be assembled.

  • STEP 1 : Unfold the feet and slot them onto the base legs of the heated airer. Use the foot screws provided to secure the feet in place.
  • STEP 2 : Unclip the storage clips and fold the wings out flat to create the layers.
  • STEP 3 : The heated airer is now ready to use and can now be plugged into the mains power supply.

CAUTION: Take care when assembling the heated airer, as it is possible for loose clothing or fingers to become trapped and cause injury to the user.

Operating the heated airer
Once the heated airer has been assembled following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Assembling the heated airer’, it is ready to use.

  • STEP 1 : Hang up the damp garments as required. As much water as possible should be removed before hanging, as this will prevent the heated airer collapsing under the total weight of the wet fabric.
  • STEP 2 : Once the heated airer is loaded, plug it in and turn it on using the on/off switch; this will illuminate, indicating that the heated airer is turned on.
  • STEP 3 : Once the garments are dry, switch off the heated airer by pressing the on/off switch to the off position, the light on the switch will turn off.
  • STEP 4 : Remove the garments with care, as the heated airer rails may still be hot.

NOTE: For a faster drying time, spin the garments in a washing machine before hanging them.

WARNING: Do not load the heated airer beyond 30 kg. Ensure the weight is evenly distributed between the bars. During use the operating temperature will remain between 45-55 °C.

Storage
The heated airer can be stored in tall, narrow places by simply folding the wings, securing them with the storage clips, and folding the feet in.

CAUTION: When folding the heated airer, keep any loose clothing or fingers clear of the folding parts.
