Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed.
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of
the local network before connecting the appliance to the main power supply.
Children aged from 8 years and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge can use this appliance, only
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Take care when equipping accessories with rotating parts as this could cause
entrapment.
Switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains power supply and allow
it to cool fully before changing or fitting accessories and before cleaning or
user maintenance.
Use of an extension cord with the appliance is not recommended.
This appliance should not be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used for
commercial purposes.
Thermal Cut-out Device
If the dust container and HEPA filter are not cleaned on a regular basis, the
vacuum cleaner may overheat, which will cause the thermal cut-out device to
activate due to the restricted flow of air around the unit. If the vacuum
cleaner cuts out, press the power switch to turn it off and unplug it from the
mains power supply.
Proceed to empty the dust container, clean all of the filters and allow the
vacuum cleaner to cool for approx. 1 hour.
Dos and Don’ts
Do:
Check that the HEPA filter is kept clear of obstruction.
Make sure that the dust container and HEPA filter are cleaned regularly.
Don’t:
Use the vacuum cleaner without the HEPA filter or dust container in position.
Use the vacuum cleaner to pick up flammable liquid, matches, cigarette ends,
hot ashes, or any hot, burning, or smoking objects.
Use the vacuum cleaner to pick up water or any other liquid, as this poses a
risk of an electric shock.

Instructions for Use
Before First Use
Before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time, clean it with a soft, damp
cloth and dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or any other liquid.
Assembling the Upright Vacuum Handle
STEP 1: Align the tab on the extension pole with the indent on the
extension pole handle.
STEP 2: Press the tab inwards whilst pushing the pole into position until
the tab clicks into place.
Using as an Upright Vacuum Cleaner
STEP 1: Align the groove on the upright vacuum handle with the indent on
the handheld unit.
STEP 2: Insert the upright vacuum handle into the vacuum cleaner’s main
body until the locking clip secures it into place.
STEP 3: Place the floor head onto the floor and slot the air inlet onto
the floor head.
STEP 4: Plug in and switch on the vacuum cleaner at the mains power
supply.
STEP 5: Turn it on by pressing the power switch.
STEP 6: Press the power switch once more to turn off the vacuum cleaner.
Using as a Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
STEP 1: Once the vacuum cleaner is turned off, press the locking clip and
then carefully pull the extension handle away from the vacuum cleaner’s main
body.
STEP 2: Remove the floor head by pulling it away from the air inlet.
STEP 3: Select the attachment to be used and place it securely onto the
air inlet.
STEP 4: Once the attachment is secure, plug the vacuum cleaner into the
mains power supply and turn it on by pressing the power switch.
STEP 5: Turn off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power switch once
more.
The dust container and HEPA filter need to be emptied and cleaned regularly to
preserve suction, prevent overheating, and prolong the life of -the vacuum
cleaner.
Storage
The vacuum cleaner should be cool, clean, and dry before storing in a cool, dry place. Wrap the power cord around the quick release cord hook and the lower cord hook, making sure that the quick release cord hook is in the upright position. To unwrap the power cord, twist the quick release cord hook 180 ° in a clockwise direction to release the cord from the stored position.
