Troubleshooting

Problem

|

Possible cause

|

Solution

---|---|---

The product is switched on, but the paper cannot be shredded.

|

There is too much cut paper into the container  A 5. The paper cannot fall down and stays at  A 2.

|

1.Disconnect the product.

2.Remove  A 3 from  A 5.

3.Empty  A 5 above a dust bin.

Paper is stuck in  A 2 and the product will not shred it further.

|

a. The slots of the blades tighten the cut paper.

b. The shred capacity is higher than the limitation of 6 sheets of A4 paper size.

c. The motor is overheated.

|

1.Slide  A 1 to  REV. __

  1. Remove the leftover papers from  A 2.

If steps 1 and 2 did not give a result:

3.Disconnect the product.

4.Allow the product to cool down for at least 60 min.

The product does not work after placing scrapped paper.

|

The product will automatically be locked after inserting scrapped paper.

|

Slide  A 1 to  REV. __

The product does not start after inserting a sheet of paper or stops running when paper is being inserted.

|

The paper is too thin, soft, damped, wrinkled, or curled.

|

1.Fold the paper.

2.Insert the paper into  A 2.

Prolonged use of the product causes the product to heat up internally. The built-in overheating protection switches off the product to prevent any damage.

After using the product for 2 minutes, allow the product to cool down for at least 60 minutes before using the product again.
