Function description

WPS: App your host router supports WPS function you can press the WPS button and then press the WPS button of the APS button of the WIFI repeater to establish a secure connection between the host router and the Wi-Fi repeater

Reset: This button is restore the repeater’s factory default setting. With the repeater powered on, use use a pin to press and hold the reset button for about 8 seconds.

WAN/LAN: 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port is used to connect in enable device to Wi-Fi network such as internet TV,DVR, Gaming console and so on Please note that support cannot be connected to a router

SETUP STEPS FOR WIRELESS EXTEND

Step 1 Plug the extender into a power outlet near your router and
wait for the Power light turn into blue.

Step 2 Open the WiFi list of your device, connect to “Wifi Extender xxxx” directly, there is no need to enter the password.
(xxxx is the last 4 numbers of the repeater MAC address)

Note: If the mobile phone does not automatically jump to setting page after connecting. please enter 192.168.16.1 in the address bar to set up.

Function Setting

Step 1 Click the “NEXT” button to enter the network search page. Select the WiFi network you want to extend, if it is a hidden network, you need to add it manually.

Step 2 Enter your router connection password and click the “NEXT” button.
Note: If you need modify the name of The extended network, please enter the new name after the “Extender SSID” box directly.

Step 3 Click the “Finish” button to complete the “Wireless Extend” setting
(The extended W1Fi’ s password is the same as the routers ‘ by default)
Step 4 Complete “Wireless Extend” setting. Go back to the WiFi list and connect to your extended network with your router’s password.

SETUP STEPS ABOUT WPS

What does WPS mean ?

WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup, a network security standard that simplifies the process of connecting devices to a wireless network. It helps users add devices to their Wi-Fi networks in seconds by skipping the need to enter long passwords.

Step 1 Plug the extender into a power outlet near your router and wait for the Power light turn into green.
Step 2 Press the WPS button on your router for 1~2 seconds.
Step 3 Within 120 seconds press the WPS button for 1-2 seconds on the repeater.
Step 4 Wait for about 30 seconds and the repeater will restart automatically. The Extender light will go out and then come on again when it has successfully connected to your router.

Note: Please make sure that your router has WPS function and is open. When using the WPS function for setting, the repeater will be set to repeater mode by default, and the routing signal will be expanded automatically. The expanded WiFi name is the router WiFi name text, and the connection password is the same as the router’s password. If this method is failed or your router doesn’t have WPS button, Please follow the “SETUP STEPS FOR WIRELESS EXTEND(REPEATER MODE)” method to set up.

FAQS and SUPPORTS

Q1 Where shall I place the WIFI extender?

A: We suggest that after setting up successfully, please move this WiFi extender on the halfway between your router and your weak signal area. The location that you choose must be within the range of your existing Wifi router network.

Q2 Does this Extender will reduce my WIFI speed?

A: The WiFi extender is used to extend the WiFi range ( which your main router WIFI can’t cover) It does not Increase WIFI speed. Sometimes, the WiFi speed may reduce due to external influences, such as microwave oven or thick wall. We suggest you place it at different position for a better signal.

Q3 What can I do if I cannot access the web management page?

A: There are many kinds of reasons caused this situation. Please try the methods below to log in again:

1. Make sure your phone/PC is connected to its wireless network “Wifi Extender xxxx” during setup.
2. Or open your browser on your phone/PC, enter 192.168.16.1 in the address bar to set up.
3. If you still can’ t access the web page, please reset the extender, then connect your computer or smartphone to its wireless network “Wifi Extender xxxx” and begin to set up again.

Q4 What Is the password for setting up the extender?

A: When you connect “Wifi Extender xxxx” ,there is no need to enter the password, you can connect it directly. After setting up, when you connect to the new extended network, the password is the same as your root router password.

Q5 How to reset the WIFI extender?

A: Plug in the extender and wait about 30s, then press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds (use a pin to insert), the Power LED flashes quickly, and the machine restores to the factory mode.
