Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
  • Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
  • Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
  • Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
  • Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  • Only handle the product with dry hands. Handling with wet hands might cause an electric shock.
  • Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
  • Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children, animals or infirm persons. Do not allow children to play with it or touch it.
  • Do not switch on the product without the cover on.
  • Avoid injuries from the egg pricking device.
  • Place the product on a heat resistant surface.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Installing the product

1. Remove all packaging.

2. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

3. Fill body  A 4 with 140 ml water.

4. Press power button  A 5 to bring the water to a boil.

  • Be careful when opening  A 1, hot steam may escape.

5. Discard the water.

6. Repeat 2 times to remove any dust or residue from the manufacturing process.

Use

Boiling eggs

1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

2. Fill  A 4 with water.

  • See the table below for the recommended amount of water. Use measuring cup  A 6 to measure the amount of water.

3. Place egg tray  A 3 on  A 4.

4. Use the pin from  A 6 to create a small hole in the eggs.

5. Place the eggs on  A 3.

6. Place cover  A 1 on  A 3.

7. Plug  A 7 into a power outlet.

8. Press  A 5.

  • A 5 lights up.
  • A 5 switches off when all the water in  A 4 has evaporated.

9. Be careful when opening  A 1, hot steam may escape.

10. Remove the eggs from the product.

  • Be careful as the product is still hot.
  • Run cool water over the eggs to stop the cooking.

To manually switch off the product, press  A 5 or unplug the power cable.

Poaching eggs

1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

2. Fill  A 4 with water.

3. Place  A 3 on  A 4.

4. Place  A 2 on  A 3.

5. Grease  A 2 to ensure the eggs come out easily.

6. Crack an egg into  A 2. Each of the compartments can hold one egg.

7. Place  A 1 on  A 3.

8. Plug  A 7 into a power outlet.

9. Press  A 5.

  • A 5 lights up.
  • A 5 switches off when all the water in  A 4 has evaporated.
  • To manually switch off the product, press  A 5 or unplug the power cable.

Maintenance

  •  Allow the product to cool down.
  • Do not immerse the product in water.
  • Do not expose the electrical connections to water or moisture.
  • Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
  • Clean A 2 in warm water (about 40 °C) with a neutral detergent.

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
