This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

The Nedis KARP100BK is an electric multi grill with removable plates.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
- Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
- Make sure that the product can dissipate its heat.
- Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
- Always close the product before connecting it to the power outlet.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Disconnect the product from the power outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Connect to a grounded outlet only.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Allow the product to cool down before changing parts.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
- Do not use external timers or remote control systems to switch the product on or off.
- Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
- Keep distance from flammable objects.
- Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
- Keep the product out of reach from children.
Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Before first use
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Clean the casing with a damp cloth.
3. Clean the plates A 10,11,12 with a sponge or cloth and warm water.
4. Dry A 10,11,12 with a cloth or paper towel.
Use

- Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.
1. Place A 4 onto the bottom heating element.
- Align the notches under the metal brackets.
2. Push A 4 onto the bottom plate clamp A 5 until you hear it clicking into place.
3. Place A 3 onto the top heating element.
- Align the notches under the metal brackets.
4. Push A 3 onto the top plate clamp A 2 until you hear it clicking into place.

- Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.
1. Unlock A 1 and lift the top with A 6.
2. Press A 5. A 4 pops up slightly from the base.
3. Take A 4 with two hands, slide it out from under the metal brackets and lift it out of the base.
4. Hold A 3 and press A 2 to remove A 3.
Using the multi grill
When the product heats up for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal and does not affect the safety of the product.
1. Plug A 7 into a power outlet. A 3 and A 4 start heating up.
- A 8, A9 lights up.
- A 9 switches off when the product is ready to use.
2. Unlock A 1 and lift the top with A 6.
3. Slightly grease A 3 and A 4 with edible oil.
4. Place food or batter on A 4 and close A 6.
5. Lock A 1.
6. Open A 6 after 3-6 min to check if the food is ready.
- Be careful when opening A 6, hot steam may escape.
7. Remove the food with a wooden or plastic spatula.
- Do not use a metal tool to remove the food to avoid damaging the coating.
8. Apply new grease and food or batter or unplug A 7 to switch off the product.
Storage
- Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.
1. Make sure the product is cool and dry before storage.
2. Wrap the power cord around the bottom of the base for storing.
Maintenance
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid, acetone or gasoline when cleaning the product.
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
Cleaning
- Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.
- The product is easier to clean when it is slightly warm.
- Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
- Only the plates can be cleaned in water or dishwasher when removed from the product.
1. Remove food residue with a paper towel.
2. Clean A 3 and A 4 with a soft damp cloth.
3. Wipe the outside of the multi grill with a damp cloth only.
4. Dry with a soft cloth.

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
