Pre-Installation Steps:

Installation Steps:

  1. Lift the vehicle and remove the factory fender carefully.
  2. Attach the front of the fender flare to the vehicle using the provided hardware.
  3. Temporarily remove the hardware attaching the fender liner to the wheel well edge.
  4. Attach the rear of the fender flare to the vehicle.
  5. Level and adjust the fenders, then tighten all hardware securely.

Maintenance:

Avoid using polish or wax-containing abrasives that could damage the finish. Clean the flares with mild soap when needed.

TOOLS REQUIRED
WRENCH/SOCKET SET

DO NOT OVER TORQUE. PLEASE FOLLOW THE TIGHTEN OPERATING LOAD STANDARD BELOW:

  • 6mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 7 TO 8.5 FOOT POUND.
  • 8mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 18 TO 20 FOOT POUND.
  • 10mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 35 TO 40 FOOT POUND.
  • 12mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 60 TO 70 FOOT POUND.

TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT, DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF POLISH OR WAX THAT MAY CONTAIN ABRASIVES THAT COULD DAMAGE THE FINISH. MILD SOAP MAY BE USED TO CLEAN THE PRODUCTS

PROCEDURE

REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED.

  1. Start installation on the Driver/Left side of the vehicle. Locate the plastic clips attaching the fender to the body of the vehicle, (Figure 1). Rotate counterclockwise to release the clips. Carefully pry the fender away from the vehicle and place in a safe location, (Figure 2).
  2. Locate the hardware attaching the fender liner to the outer edge of the wheel well. Temporarily remove the hardware to access the backside of the fender location.
  3. Select the Driver/Left Fender. With assistance, hold up the Fender to the mounting location. Determine the holes needed in the body.
  4. Reuse the factory threaded inserts to attach the Fender to the body with (5) 6mm Button Head Bolts, (5) 6mm Lock Washers and (5) 6mm Flat Washers, (Figures 3 & 4). Do not tighten hardware.
  5. Adjust the position of the Fender and fully tighten all hardware.
  6. Repeat Steps 1—5 for Passenger/Right side Fender installation.
  7. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

  1. Locate the clips under the factory fender, turn the clips counterclockwise. Carefully pry the fender away from the vehicle
  2. Locate and temporarily remove the hardware attaching the fender liner to the edge of the wheel well
  3. Attach the rear of the Fender to the vehicle
  4. Level and adjust the Fenders and tighten all hardware. (Passenger/Right side shown)
