- Q: Why is the data transfer speed slow?
- A: Please make sure that the USB port on your computer is USB 3.0 compatible as well.
- Q: Why does the memory card icon not appear on the screen after connecting?
- A: Please insert the memory card into the card reader first, then connect the card reader to the computer. Additionally, we recommend formatting the SD/CF/Micro SD card as exFAT or FAT. NTFS format is not recommended as it may affect the usage of the memory card.
- Q: Why can’t I read and write to the SD/CF/Micro SD card after connecting properly?
- A: Please reconnect the card reader using the method mentioned in the previous question. Also, make sure to unlock the SD card.

Connecting the Card Reader
To connect the card reader to your computer, follow these steps:
- Insert the memory card into the card reader.
- Connect the card reader to your computer using the USB 3.0 cable.
Data Transfer Speed
If you are experiencing slow data transfer speed, please ensure that your computer’s USB port is also USB 3.0 compatible.
Memory Card Icon Not Appearing on Screen
If the memory card icon does not appear on the screen after connecting, follow these steps:
- Insert the memory card into the card reader first.
- Connect the card reader to the computer.
- Ensure that the memory card is formatted as exFAT or FAT. Avoid using NTFS format as it may affect the usage of the memory card.
Reading and Writing SD/CF/Micro SD Card
If you are unable to read or write to the memory card after connecting properly, follow these steps:
- Reconnect the card reader using the method mentioned in step 5.
- Ensure that the SD card is unlocked.
Formatting SD/CF/Micro SD Card
Note: Before formatting the memory card, make sure to backup your data to avoid data loss.
To format the memory card:
- For Windows:
- Click [Device Management] > [Disk Management].
- Find the correct memory card, right-click and select [Format].
- Choose either exFAT or FAT format and click [OK].
- For Mac OS:
- In [Disk Management], choose the correct memory card.
- Click [Erase] and select the format.
- Fill in the label (Disk Name) and click [Erase] to start formatting.
Disconnecting the Card Reader
To avoid data loss, always disconnect the card reader properly:
- Click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area.
- Choose the card reader and safely remove it.

- Q: Why the data transfer speed is slow?
- A: Please make sure the host (computer side) is USB3.0 as well.
- Q: Why there is no icon (of the memory card) appears on the screen after connecting?
- A: Please insert the memory card to the card reader first, then connect the card reader to the computer. on the other hand, we recommend you to set the format of SD/CF/Micro SD to be exFAT or FAT. NTFS is not recommended as it will affect the usage of memory card.
- Q: Why I can’t read and write SD/CF/Micro SD card atfer connecting properly?
- A: Please reconned with the method mentioned in Q2. Also, please remember to unlock the SD card.
