Instruction

Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the doors and rear window. The installation is best done when the temperature is 70°F or warmer. If installed outside and in the cold weather, warming the adhesive Velcro strips just before installation is recommended.

  1. Carefully open the carton and roll out the enclosure on a large flat surface that is clean and free of dirt or other material that may soil the textile or scratch the clear vinyl windows of the enclosure.

  2. Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:

    • 2” Adhesive Velcro hook strips 16 each 3” long
    • 2” Adhesive Velcro hook strips 2 each 9” long
    • 2” Adhesive Velcro hook strips 2 each 34” long
    • 2” Adhesive Velcro hook strips 1 each 38” long
    • Screw snaps 13 each (1 extra)
    • Cab enclosure 3 Pieces
If any parts are damaged or missing please contact customer service at 606-845-7439.
  3. Begin by opening up the enclosure and with the help of another person drape the enclosure over the roll cage and arrange into the correct position.

  4. You will have to remove the windshield and hard top (if installed) from the vehicle prior to installing the Soft Door Rear Window Combo. Before removing the windshield be sure to mark the locations of the windshield clamps with a china marker or tape.

  5. Now start by getting someone to help hold the cab up to the roll cage and mark the locations for the Velcro around the top of the cab. Remove the cab, apply the adhesive Velcro to the roll cage tube and replace the cab.

  6. You will notice double-sided Velcro strips sewn to the cab enclosure. At these locations, wrap the roll bar with one of the 3” adhesive Velcro strips. After wrapping the Velcro around the bar wrap the double-sided strip around the adhesive Velcro providing a very secure hold.

  7. Now install the adhesive Velcro down the front of the doors; be sure you have already marked the locations of the clamps for your windshield prior to doing this. You will need to cut the Velcro tabs to fit around the clamps. Cut about an inch out of the Velcro tab and be sure to melt the edges with a lighter to prevent fraying.

  8. Move to the rear of the cab and install the four snap studs into the plastic between the bed and the cab with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Be sure to pull the cab down by hand and mark the location for the snap, this will ensure a tight fit when installed.

  9. Now moving on to the doors you will have two more snaps on the bottom of each door and two at the front of the door; just install the screw snaps as you did across the rear of the cab.

  10. Begin the rear window by placing the 38″ adhesive Velcro strip across the top rear bar of the roll cage. This will hold the top of the rear window in place as shown in the photo below.

  11. Next attach the sides to the double-sided velcro tabs sewn along the rear of the doors as shown in the photo below.

  12. Now just hang the rear window from the Velcro on the top bar and attach it down the sides. The bottom of  the rear window has magnets that will attach to the frame.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations

  1. Before removing the Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
  2.  It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at a normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extreme hot or cold temperatures when storing.
  3. A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.

Thank you for your purchase!
