The quote may include an estimate of VAT/GST tax for your convenience which the UL Solutions Entity is required to collect at the time of invoicing. If your quotation does not separately display VAT/GST tax, the price displayed is exclusive of a tax and tax may be included in your invoice if required upon issuance.

Please note that additional expenses such as travel costs, shipping, disposition of samples, local taxes or other costs may be incurred. If these are required for your project, they will be billed to you. Invoicing for this project will occur at the times stated in this Quote or at completion of the project.

Additional Information

For the test items covered by this Quote, when making a statement of conformity with the standard or specification for the test results, UL International Limited adopts the decision rules in standards, specifications or decision rules prescribed by relevant regulation bodies, authorities. When the above aspects do not specify a specific decision rule, UL uses the “simple acceptance” decision rule based on IEC Guide 115. If the Applicant or Applicant’s authorized agent chooses to adopt other decision rules, please inform UL when accepting the Quote.

Invoicing and Payment

Unless credit has been established, a deposit of quoted fees may be required prior to your project start date.
If your accounts payable process requires a Purchase Order (PO) to be referenced on UL Solutions invoice to facilitate payment and we have not listed it in the Bill-To information below, please provide a copy of your PO document and number when this Quote is accepted for our use in issuing your invoice.
If you have designated another company to receive and pay UL Solutions invoices on your behalf (“Bill-To Company”), we have included the current Bill-To information for the Quote below. Notwithstanding that you have designated a Bill-To company to receive invoices from UL Solutions, you remain responsible for all unpaid invoices

Additional Terms

All deliverables provided under this Quote are governed by (1) the terms agreed to between our companies (or their respective affiliates) that apply to the deliverables under this Quote, and (2) any additional terms included in or referenced in this Quote. For the purposes of this Quote, any references in the foregoing terms to “UL” means the UL Solutions entity identified in the Quote.
This Quote and the other terms identified in the clause above constitute the entire agreement for the services or products described in this Quote. Your issuance of a PO to UL Solutions is for accounting purposes only and does not constitute a counteroffer. Any additional, different, or preprinted terms in a PO, requests for a quote, invoices, or other documents exchanged between us do not apply to apply to the Services or bind us.
At any time during the project, UL Solutions may request that you provide information necessary for UL Solutions’ performance of its work. If UL Solutions does not receive requested information within the timeframes communicated by UL Solutions, UL Solutions may cancel the Service Agreement and invoice you for work performed up to the date of cancellation.

Additional Services and Fees

For services that result in the authorization of a certification Mark, Follow- Up or surveillance Services may be required, and additional fees will apply and will be charged separately. Generally, these fees cover the periodic examinations or tests of the certified products at the factories where the products are produced and other administration fees. Follow-up Services for services related to the UL certification Mark may be covered by a separate service agreement with a different UL Solutions company.

Acceptance Instructions

To accept this Quote, you can do one of the following:

Electronically sign by adding the word “ACCEPT” in the email and reply to sender. Your electronic acceptance creates a valid, binding service agreement.
Have an authorized company representative sign below and return to sender.

By accepting this Quote, you certify that you have read and agree to the referenced terms and conditions; you are authorized to accept this Quote on behalf of your company and authorize us to commence work on the services described above.
