NOTE ON SUPPLIED PARTS AND HARDWARE

Before starting assembly, check all parts are included and undamaged. Do not

SUPPLIED PARTS AND HARDWARE
INSTALLATION
STEP 1 ATTACHING THE TV BRACKETS TO YOUR TV SELECT TV BOLTS.
Only one bolt size fits your TV.
Hand thread bolts into the threaded inserts on the back of your TV to determine which bolt (M4, M6 or MB] to use. We recommend screwing in at least five turns. Do not turn past the bottom of the hole.
SPACER AND BOLT CONFIGURATIONS
ATTACH THE TV BRACKETS TO YOUR TV
CAUTION:
Ensure the ends with round holes on the TV brackets [01 I are directed toward
the top of the TV, and brackets are EQUALLY CENTERED on your TV AND securely
fastened in place.
OPTION A: FOR FLAT BACK TVS
Add spacers, if needed, to fit the bolt length and TV back.
OPTION B: FOR CURVED BACK TVS
Spacers must be tall enough so that the curved back of the TV does not
interfere with the mounting plate.
OPTION C: FOR TVS WITH A BUMP
The TV brackets must be flush on the bump and leveled by spacers on the gap.
OPTION D: FOR TVS WITH PROTRUDING CABLES
Use spacers to create extra space between the TV and TV brackets.
OPTION E: FOR TVS WITH RECESSED HOLES
Spacers need to fill in the recessed holes on the back of the TV, while
keeping the TV brackets as close to the TV as possible.
STEP 2 MOUNTING THE ARM ASSEMBLY/ WALL PLATE ON THE WALL
For mounting on wood stud walls, go to Option A.
For mounting on solid concrete, concrete block, or brick walls, go to Option
B.
OPTION A: MOUNTING ON WOOD STUD WALLS
IMPORTANT: Maximum horizontal distance between fasteners is 16″ [406mm).
- Avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage! Tighten the lag screws [A1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate [DO NOT overtighten]. Do not use a drill; only use a socket wrench.
- Do not use wall anchors [A2] for this mounting option. Wall anchors [A2] are used for solid concrete, concrete block, and brick installations only.
- Any material covering the wall must not exceed 5/8″ [16mm].
- Minimum wood stud size: 1 1/2″ W x 3 1/2″ D [38 x 89mm)
- Wood Stud Spacing: 1 O” to 16″ [center to center)
NOTE: If the wood studs are more than 16″ apart, or if the studs are not in the desired mounting location, you can secure 12) wood boards to the wall studs, then install the TV mount on the boards. Minimum wood board dimensions: 1 1/2″ T x 3 1/2″ W x > 18″ L [38 x 89 x >457mml. Go to page 19 for details.

Use a stud finder [not included] to locate wood studs, or use an awl [not included] to check the edges. Mark the edge and center positions.

Position the wall plate template [02] at your desired height and line up the holes with your stud centerline. Level the wall plate template and mark the holes.

Drill four pilot holes using a 7/32″
[5.5mm] diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is not less than 2 3/4″
[70mm]. -
Mount the arm assembly/ wall plate [04] on the wall using the lag screws [A 1l. Tighten the lag screws only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate [DO NOT overtighten].
OPTION B: MOUNTING ON SOLID CONCRETE, CONCRETE BLOCK, OR BRICK WALLS
WARNING
- Avoid the risk of personal injury or property damage! Tighten the lag screws [A1] only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate [DO NOT overtighten]. Do not use a drill; only use a socket wrench. Use wall anchors [A2] for this mounting option.
- Mount the arm assembly/ wall plate directly on the concrete surface.
- Minimum solid concrete thickness: 8″ [203mm].
- Minimum concrete block size: 8″ x 8″ x 16″ [203 x 203 x 406mm].
- Never mount in the mortar between blocks or bricks.
- Position the wall plate template [02] at your desired height. Level the wall plate template and mark the holes.
- Drill four pilot holes using a 3/8″ [10mm] diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is not less than 3″ [75mm]. Never mount in the mortar between blocks or bricks.
- Use a hammer to knock the anchors [A2] into the drilled holes. Ensure the anchors are seated flush with the concrete or brick surface.
- Mount the arm assembly/ wall plate [04] on the wall using the lag screws
[A 1] and anchors. Tighten the lag screws only until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate [DO NOT overtighten].
STEP 3 TESTING TV WALL MOUNT INSTALLATION
Before hanging the TV on the mount, pull down on the mount with your hands to
check that it’s securely installed.
STEP4 EXTENDING THE FRONT SUPPORT (OPTIONAL)
- If the horizontal distance between the holes on the back of your TV is less than 300mm [11.8″]. go to Step 5.
- If the horizontal distance between the holes on the back of your TV is greater than 300mm [11.8″]. follow the below instructions.
Grip both end caps to pull the extension bars out from the front support. Once the spring clips on the bars lock in place, secure the front support with the bolts [H].
STEP 5 MOUNTING THE TV ON THE ARM ASSEMBLY/ WALL PLATE
Hang the TV on the arm assembly/ wall plate using the brackets. Then flip the
safety locks up and fasten using bolts [G1] or [G2I.
OPTION A: FOR A FRONT SUPPORT WITH NO EXTENSION, USE LONG BOLTS [G2]
OPTION B: FOR AN EXTENDED FRONT SUPPORT, USE SHORT BOLTS [G1]
STEP6 ADJUSTING THE TILT ANGLE OF THE TV
CAUTION: DO NOT overtighten or overloosen the lever.
Turn the lever handle [Tl 90 degrees, and slightly loosen the lever [Tl. Adjust the TV to your desired tilt angle. Retighten the lever [Tl to lock the tilt angle.
STEP 7 ADJUSTING THE LEVELING OF THE TV
CAUTION: DO NOT overtighten or overloosen the nuts.
If needed, the TV can be leveled. Slightly loosen four leveling nuts [L]. Level your TV. Retighten the leveling nuts [L] to hold the TV in place.
STEP 8 ATTACHING THE FOAM PADS TO THE ARMS (OPTIONAL)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
QUESTION 1
What should I do if my stud spacing is greater than 16″ or if I can’t
center the mount on the wood studs?
OPTION A : HARDWOOD BOARDS
- Buy two hardwood boards long enough to cover the gap between two wood studs and firmly attach them.
- Securely attach the TV Wall Mount to the boards.
OPTION B: EXTENSION BRACKET
- Please contact our customer service at support@perlegear.com for a free set of two extension bracket and attach them to the TV Wall Mount.
- Install the TV Wall Mount on the wood studs using the extension brackets.
QUESTION 2
How do I find the right height for mounting the TV?
The simplest method is to position the TV so that the center is the same height as your eye level while viewing. Scan the QR code to watch the mounting video, which covers this in more detail.
QUESTION 3
How can I raise/lower the TV if the TV Wall Mount is already fixed on the
wall?
- Remove the TV from the TV Wall Mount.
- Remove the TV brackets from the TV and reattach according to instructions A or Bin the picture below [A for lifting up the TV or B for lowering the TV].
- Remount the TV on the TV Wall Mount.
- To raise the TV by a few inches,reattach the TV brackets using the upper holes in the brackets.
- To lower the TV by a few inches,reattach the TV brackets using the lower holes in the brackets.
QUESTION 4
It’s too hard to adjust the swivel angle or extension of the TV Wall Mount.
- If you haven’t yet mounted the TV on the TV Wall Mount, do that before moving the arm assembly. It’s easier to move the TV Wall Mount by holding and moving the TV.
- If you have tried 1 but adjustment is still too hard, try lubricating the arm joints with a few drops of machine oil.
