HDD/SSD light: white, flash when reading / writing
Clone progress light: All progress lights are blue when clone finished
1. HDD/SSD Read & Write:
1.1. Insert the HDD/SSD to the docking station, connect the docking station to computer with USB3.0 cable.
1.2. Connect the docking station to power with power adapter, turn the power switch on, drive will appear on the computer and the USB driver will be installed automatically.
Note: If it is used SSD, you can find the new drive on “computer” , read & write normally. If it is new drive, you need to initialize, partition, format it firstly before use.
2. New hard disk format:
2.1. View “computer- Manage – Disk Management” to find the new disk .
Note: There are two formats when initialization, please choose MBR if your drives are smaller than 2TB, choose GPT if your drives are larger than 2TB.
2. Hard disk partition:
2.2. Right click the “Disk 1” , then click “New Simple Volume”.
2.3. According to the instruction, choose the size of partition, then click
“Next” to finish.
2.4. Then you can find the new hard disk in the “Computer, it s ready to be
use.
3. Offline clone:
3.1. Insert source HDD/SSD to HDD1 bay, insert target HDD/SSD to HDD2 bay.
(Note: Don’ t need to connect to computer. The capacity of target HDD/SSD must be equal or larger than source HDD/SSD, or can’ t clone)
3.2. When the corresponding HDD/SSD indicator light is on, long press the clone key for about 5-8 seconds, clone begins. When 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% are all on, clone finished.
