Product Usage Instructions
Hard Drive Installation and Connection
- Push the SSD into the connector of the docking station and lock the disk with screws on the bottom.
- Connect the Type-C USB cable to your PC and the docking station.
- Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet and connect the DC jack to the docking station.
- Press the power button once to turn on the docking station. The LED will illuminate when powered on.
Formatting a New Hard Disk
- Open the “Computer Management” tool on your computer.
- Navigate to “Disk Management” to find the new disk.
- Right-click on the new disk labeled “Disk 1” and select “New Simple Volume”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the formatting process.
Hard Disk Partitioning
- Choose the desired size for the partition according to the instructions.
- Click “Next” to finish the partitioning process.
Remark: If you are using a previously formatted hard drive, it will be visible in the computer. However, if you are installing a new hard drive, you must format it before use.
