Installation
- Pull out the tray and unfasten screws at size 80mm, then assemble SSD(M-key NVMe ) at degree 45.
- Fix SSD screws with the board and push the board into the housing.
- Fix the enclosure’s screws and adhensive acrylic on the side.
- Connect cable with PC and enclosure.
- Remark: For partitioned SSD, it will be recognized as “New Volume” after connecting with the Type-C cable, it can be read and written directly; for a new SSD, you must do initialization and partition before recognizing after connecting with the PC
New hard disk format
- View “computer- Manage – Disk Management” to find the new disk.
- Right-click the “Disk 1 then click “New Simple Volume
- Note: There are two formats when initialization, please choose MBR if your drives are smaller than 2TB, and choose GPT if your drives are larger than 2TB.
Hard disk partition
- According to the instructions, choose the size of a partition, then click “Next” to finish.
- Then you can find the new hard disk in the “Computer, it s ready to be used.
