Golden GP302 Cricket Power Wheelchair
Read before assembly
Step 1
With one hand on the backrest push handle and the other hand on the seat tube, pull in opposite directions to unfold the power wheelchair. Note: An audible “click” indicates the latch has engaged and is now in the locked position. See Figure 1.
Step 2
Remove the zip tie and block from the latch on the battery pack shown in Figure 2.
Step 3
Engage the battery latch push the battery pack into position and release the latch, see Figure 3. Note: An audible “click” indicates the latch has engaged and is now in the locked position.
NOTICE
New batteries must be fully charged before the initial use of the product.
After completing the setup, connect the charger to the power chair first, at
the joystick or the battery pack, then the wall outlet, and charge the
batteries for 12 hours before using the product. See Figure 7.
Step 4
Loosen the armrest knob, insert the joystick and adjust to a length comfortable to you, then tighten the knob to secure the joystick. (Note: The joystick may be installed on the left or right arm according to your preference). See Figure 4.
Step 5
Press the latch for one of the anti-tip brackets, which are located at the inside of the rear wheels under the motors. Fully extend the ant-tip until it locks into place. See Figure 5. Repeat step 5 for the opposite anti-tip.
Step 6
Place the two freewheel levers into the drive position.
Note: The power wheelchair will not drive in freewheel. See figure 6
