Product Usage Instructions
Safety Instructions:
- Danger of fire! Lenses in optical devices can generate heat if handled or stored improperly. Avoid leaving optical lenses in direct sunlight.
- Danger of glare and injury! Never look directly into the sun or other bright light sources using optical devices. Avoid looking directly into the light source.
- Protect your magnifying light from impacts, moisture, and excess heat. Avoid placing it on a radiator or in direct sunlight.
- Risk of tripping! Ensure that the power cord does not pose a risk. Do not wind the power cord around the magnifying light. Avoid using the magnifying light near water-filled containers.
- Inform others, especially children, about these safety risks.
Notes on Usage:
- Connect the mains adapter to a power socket. A slight warming of the device and lamp during operation is normal. The illuminated magnifier can be left plugged in when not in use (switched off).
- When the lens is not standing horizontally, pull the foot from the handle until it engages.
- If the foot bothers you, press the snap-in pin and slide the foot into the handle. The optimal distance between the lens and the text to be read is achieved when the illuminated magnifier is lying on the page.
- Switch on the illuminated magnifier by sliding the switch in the direction of the lens.
- Place the illuminated magnifier on the text to be read.
- Guide the illuminated magnifier with the handle over the text to be read.
- After use, switch off the illuminated magnifier by sliding the switch.

congratulate you on your decision. For the illuminated magnifier system vario
plus, various magnifications and different lighting options are available. The
illuminated magnifier acquired by you has been specifically assembled with
this system according to your visual requirements. It may therefore differ
from the illustration.
Should there be changes in your visual requirement, the lighting and
magnification can be variably adjusted by changing the magnifier handle and
magnifier pot. The lens of your illuminated magnifier is made of high-quality,
unbreakable PXM ® material, with a cera-tec ® hard coating protecting it
against scratches – scratch resistance is a crucial criterion for quality and
durability

Lenses in optical devices can cause significant damage by focusing light
to generate heat if handled or stored improperly. Be careful never to leave optical lenses lying in direct sunlight! -
Danger of glare and injury!
Never look directly into the sun or other bright light sources using optical devices! 159960: Never look directly into the light source. -
Protect your magnifying light from impacts, moisture and excess heat. Never lay your magnifying light on a radiator or in direct sunlight.

Notes on usage

Connect the mains adapter 3 to a power socket. A slight warming of the mains device and lamp during operation is normal.
The illuminated magnifier can be left plugged in when not in use (switched off). -
When the lens is not standing horizontally, pull the foot 2 from the handle until it engages.

If the foot bothers you, press the snap-in pin w and slide the foot into the handle. The distance between the lens and the text to be read is optimal when the illuminated magnifier is lying on the page.

Switch the illuminated magnifier on by sliding switch 4 in the direction of the lens.

Now place the illuminated magnifier on the text to be read.

Guide the illuminated magnifier with the handle 5 over the text to be read.

After use, switch the illuminated magnifier off by sliding switch 5 to the rear.
If you do not like the colour of the light, your optician can adjust the light
colour with the supplied coloured LED-Caps 6 .
If the light is too strong, the brightness can be reduced by using the switch
4 .
Magnifier pots with valuable extra function
Pivoting reading line 7 as an orientation guide
The following magnifier pots have this function:
- ø 80, 12 Diopter, 3.0 x
- ø 70, 16 Diopter, 4.0 x
- ø 58, 20 Diopter, 5.0 x
Turn the lever 8 to swing in the orientation guide.
Pivotable additional magnification 9 of 4 Diopter.
To read small print or to highlight difficult passages of text. The following
magnifier pots have this function:
- 100×50, 7.6 Diopter, 3.0 x
- 100×75. 7.0 Diopter, 2.8 x
Turn the lever 10 to swing in the additional magnification.
Care Instructions
When the illuminated magnifier is not in use, it should be covered. Clean the
housing with a moist cloth. Clean the lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth
(e.g. eyeglass cleaning cloth).
In the event of extreme soiling (e.g. fingerprints): Pull the magnifier head
off the handle and clean the lens with a damp cleaning cloth. When it is
completely dry, reassemble the front part and the handle.
Do NOT use any soap solutions that contain softening agents, alcohol-based solvents or abrasive cleansers! The lenses could be damaged.
Warranty
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, we provide a warranty for the functioning of the product described in this manual with regard to faults arising in connection with manufacturing errors or material errors. In event of damage due to improper handling, including damage from a fall or impact, no warranty claim exists. Warranty claims are only accepted upon presentation of the sale receipt!
Disposal
When the device reaches the end of its useful life, do not dispose of it with
normal household waste. Dispose of the product or parts of the product through
a certified disposal agency or your municipal disposal agency. Observe the
currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, contact your disposal
agency. Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly
manner.
