INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

TOOLS REQUIRED
- ALLEN WRENCH TORQUE WRENCH RATCHET SOCKET SET
DO NOT OVER TORQUE. PLEASE FOLLOW THE TIGHTEN OPERATING LOAD STANDARD BELOW: 6mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 7 TO 8.5 FOOT POUND. 8mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 18 TO 20 FOOT POUND. 10mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 35 TO 40 FOOT POUND. 12mm BOLTS & NUTS: FROM 60 TO 70 FOOT POUND. TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT, DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF POLISH OR WAX THAT MAY CONTAIN ABRASIVES THAT COULD DAMAGE THE FINISH. MILD SOAP MAY BE USED TO CLEAN THE PRODUCT.

PROCEDURE
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM THE BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED.
- Temporarily remove the tire bumper relocation bracket from the driver/left side of the HD Tire Carrier.
- Unwrap the Trail Jack Mounting Bracket.
- Remove the backing from the Foam Pad and apply the Pad to the back of the Mounting Bracket. (Figure 1).
- Attach the Trail Jack Spacer Bracket to the top of the Mounting Bracket with the included (2) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (4) 8mm Flat Washers, (2) 8mm Lock Washers, and (2) 8mm Hex Nuts, (Figure 2). Do not fully tighten hardware.
- Thread the Knob Assembly with (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1) 8mm Flat Washer into the Spacer Bracket, (Figure 3). Leave loose at this time.
- Attach the Mounting Bracket to the (2) threaded holes on the top of the Tire Carrier with the included (2) 8mm x 25mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers and (2) 8mm Flat Washers, (Figure 4). Leave hardware loose at this time.
- Reattach the tire bumper relocation bracket removed in Step 1 to the Mounting Bracket and threaded holes in the side of the Carrier with the included (2) 8mm x 25mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers, and (2) 8mm Flat Washers, (Figure 4). Snug but do not fully tighten hardware at this time.
- Carefully Place the trail jack onto the Mounting Bracket. Align and adjust the Top Spacer Bracket and Mounting Bracket as necessary and fully tighten all hardware.
- Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
