BEFORE INSTALLATION
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT DEPEND ON THE PARTS LIST. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
ASSISTANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO AVOID POSSIBLE INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

RYNOSKIN RS FTC 023 Water Gas Container Tray -

Installation Method 1

STEP 1
Remove the (4) passenger/right outer hex nuts and washers attaching the spare tire mount to the right side of the tire carrier, (Fig 1). Reuse the hex nuts and washers to attach the Mounting Bracket to the face of the spare tire mount, (Fig 2). Fully tighten hardware.

STEP 2
Carefully unwrap the Water/Gas Container Tray assembly. Hang the Tray from the slot in the top of the Mounting Bracket, (Fig 3).

STEP 3
Select (1) 8mm Nut Plate. Insert the Nut Plate down and into the back of the Mounting Bracket. Line up the Nut Plate with the top mounting hole in the Water/Gas Container Tray and Mounting Bracket. Attach the Water/Gas Container Tray to the Bracket and Nut Plate with the included (1) 8mm x 25mm Button Head Bolt, (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1) 8mm Flat Washer, (Fig 3). Do not fully tighten hardware.
STEP 4
Repeat Step 3 to attach the bottom of the Water/Gas Container Tray to the lower hole in the Mounting Bracket, (Fig 4). Skip to Step 7.

Installation Method 2

STEP 5
Notice: This method is only suitable for spare tires with a diameter of less than 37 inches. If your spare tires over 37 inches diameter, please use the method 1 for mounting.
Carefully unwrap the Water/Gas Container Tray assembly. Hang the Tray from the slot in the top of the Tire Carrier Arm, (Fig 5).

STEP 6
Select (2) 8mm Nut Plate. Insert the Nut Plates into the Tire Carrier Arms from the lower cut outs.
Line up the Nut Plates with the mounting holes in the Water/Gas Container Tray and Tire Carrier Arms. Attach the Water/Gas Container Tray to the Tire Carrier Arms and Nut Plates with the included (2) 8mm x 25mm Button Head Bolt, (2) 8mm Lock Washer and (2) 8mm Flat Washer, (Fig 6). Do not fully tighten hardware.

(Fig 6) Insert Nut Plates into the Tire Carrier Arms from the lower cut outs. Attach Water/Gas Container Tray to Nut Plates in Tire Carrier Arms.
STEP 7
Align and adjust the Water/Gas Container Tray as necessary and fully tighten all mounting hardware.
STEP 8
Insert Water/Gas Container, (not included), into the Tray. Check fit between locking top latch and Water/Gas Container. Adjust height of inner Stop and tighten hardware, (Figs 7 – 9).

Adjust inner stop up or down to fit against Water/Gas Container and tighten hardware

STEP 9
Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
Attention
To protect your investment, do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Product.
