MAIWO K3084A Hard Drive Docking Station Cloner
Specifications
1. Hard drive read and write
Insert 2.5″/3.5″ hard drive into the drive slot, make sure the hard drive
match firmly. Connect the Docking USB to a free USB port.
Connect power adapter with Docking, and set the switch to PM mode. Turn on power switch, when connected properly, the hard drive should be automatically detected and begin “AutoPlay”
Remark: If used hard drive, you will find it from “computer” . But if you are installing a new hard drive, you must format it at the first time use.
New hard disk format
View “computer- Manage – disk management” to find the new disk
New hard drive format:
Right-click the “Disk 1”, then click “New Simple Volume”
According to the instructions, choose the size of the partition, then click
“Next” to finish.
Note : There are two formats when initialization, please choose MBR if
your drives are smaller than 2TB, choose GPT if you drives are larger than
2TB. 
Then you can find the new hard disk in the “Computer”, it’s ready to be use..
Clone
Insert 2.5″/3.5″ hard drive to Source A, and Target B,C,D. (Attention: Source
A must <= Target B, C, D, or can not clone) 3.2. Turn on power switch, no need
connect with USB cable. 
Red LED light will on, about 5-85, press two times clone button, buzzer prompts: BB.BB.BB, it begin to clone data from disk A to disk B, C, D.
The LED light will start from 1%-100% to indicate cloing process.
If you want to stop clone press clone button one time, and if you want
continue press clone button again.)
When it is shown 100%,buzzer prompts BB.BB.BB, means finished clone.

Q: What kind of hard disk compatible with this product?
A: 2.5/3.5 inch SATA SSD/HDD 4.2. -
Q: Should I format the target disk before use the offline clone function?
A: Offline cloning is copying all data of source disk to the target disk,the target disk should be a empty disk,if there is data in the target disk, you should backup the data, otherwise the original data will be lost. -
Q: How is the heat dissipation of this product
A: The dock adopt vertical-insertion design, all-around heat dissipation, the speed of heat dissipation will be fast than normal hard drive enclosure. -
Q: Can it read the monitor hard drive?
A: Yes,but the format of monitor’s file is different from the computer’s file, partition and reformatting will allow you to use it normally in the same way as a new hard drive. -
Q: What condition is necessary for target disk and source disk if I want to use the offline clone function?
A: The capacity of target disk should be larger than source disk’ s, if you meet problems when you use two disks whose capacity is same, you can transfer to PM mode, confirm whether the capacity of target disk is larger than the source disk’ s. 4.6. -
Q: What’s the usage of the USB interface behind the product?
A: You can connect hard disk to your computer for reading and writing data through it. -
Q: Why doesn’t the new hard drive respond when I plug it in?
A: The new hard drive is to be formatted and partitioned before it can be used, not a product issue-Should formatting the partition before use. The steps The steps as the second (2.1-2.4) .
