Product Usage Instructions

Installation
This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

Wiring Connection
Connect the following wires:

• A15 (-) Hood in RS8
• A14 (-) Hand Brake in RS9
• A13 (-) Trunk Release out RS11
• A12 (+/-) Tachometer in RS12
• A11 (+) Foot Brake in RS13
• A8 (-) Ground Out While Running out RS14
• A5 (-) Trunk in RS15
• A4 (-) Door in RS16
• A3 (-) Unlock out RS17
• A2 (-) Lockout RS18

Note: Always use a direct connection with the data link.

Program Bypass Option
To program the bypass option, follow these steps:

1. Use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool (sold separately).
2. Add the firmware version and options using the tool.

Note: For hybrid vehicles, program the bypass option for vehicle hybrid only.

Mandatory Installation
If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, follow these steps:

• Set function A11 to OFF.
• Install a hood pin switch. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.

Parts Required
The following parts are required for installation (not included):

• 1X Diode
• 1X Fuse

HOOD STATUS: THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE-STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.

Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.

THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.
