Product Information

The Indoor Security Camera is a compact device that allows you to monitor your home or office remotely from your smartphone. It features a rechargeable battery, a micro SD card slot for storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy setup and use.

Camera Buttons and Indicators

Button/Indicator Description
ON/OFF Click the button to turn on, press the button for 5 seconds to

turn off.
MODE| Press and hold for 5 seconds to restore factory settings and
delete all setting data.
The charging indicator (blue light)| Lights up when charging, and turns off when fully charged.
Working indicator (red light)|

  1. Slow flash: Camera turns on and can be used normally.
  2. Steady flash: The camera is successfully connected to Wi-Fi.
  3. Quick flash: Device connection failed, wrong Wi-Fi
    password.

Before Using

  1. Charge the camera for about 3 hours for the first time with a 5V/1A charger.
  2. Reset the camera by pressing and holding the MODE button for about 5 seconds until the red indicator flashes quickly, then release the button and wait for the red indicator light to flash slowly.
  3. Format the micro SD card before using it with the camera.
  4. Turn off the camera before inserting or removing the SD card to avoid file corruption.
  5. The camera does not have speakers, so no sound will come out of it when in use.
  6. The camera only supports 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and mobile phone hotspot, but not 5Ghz Wi-Fi.
  7. The camera is only for 2.4ghz WIFI and mobile phone hotspot, but 5G WIFI is not supported.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. For iOS devices, search for HDWifiCamPro on the App Store. For Android devices, search for HDWifiCamPro on the Google Play Store.
  2. You can also scan the QR code provided in the user manual using a browser or third-party scanning software to download the app.

( Note: All permissions must be turned on when installing the APP)

Step 2: Connect Your Device to the CameraSCOORNEST-A9-Indoor-Camera-

  1. Turn on the camera and reset it as described in the user manual.
  2. Open the app and click the “+” button to add a new camera.SCOORNEST-A9-Indoor-Camera-fig-3
  3. Select “The phone connects directly to the device” and connect to the camera hotspot (e.g. DGO, DBG, HTM or TUT).
  4. After the connection is successful, return to the app and the device will be added successfully.

Step 3: Connect the Camera to Wi-Fi

  1. Click the “Settings” button in the app and choose Wi-Fi.SCOORNEST-A9-Indoor-Camera-fig-6
  2. Select a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with the best signal and connect to it.
  3. After the Wi-Fi setting is successful, the camera will automatically restart and show the status as “connecting”.SCOORNEST-A9-Indoor-Camera-fig-7
  4. After about 30 seconds, the camera will show the status as “online” and you can use it normally.

Camera Setting

  1. Wifi- connect camera and Wifi
  2. User- change camera password
  3. Record- check the space of micro SD card
  4. Restart- restart the camera
  5. Reset the device- reset the camera, delete all connection data
  6. QR code and Camera ID- can be shared with others to connect the camera remotely

How to Share Camera?

  • Phone A: main device
  • Phone B: the other device to be shared

Before sharing the camera, make sure that the camera connects phone A successfully but doesn’t connect to Wifi yet.

  1. Share phone A’s QR code or camera ID with phone B.
  2. Phone B: add camera- add online camera, scan QR code or enter camera ID directly of phone A.
  3. Connect camera and Wifi on phone A, the camera will be restarted. Click on the part shown below to refresh (Phone B), then B can connect to camera.

(Phone A and phone B cannot be online at the same time. If B is deleted, A will automatically be online.)

FAQ

  1. Can the camera be charged while using:
    • Yes, if you need to shoot for a long time, we recommend charge it while using.
  2. The remote video is stuck:
    • Please select the appropriate resolution according to the network environment.
  3. Micro SD card does not save video:
    • You must format the SD card for the first time.
  4. Forget the username or password:
    • The default password of the camera is 6666. If you forget the username or password, you can restore the camera to the factory settings and reset the username and password.
  5. Factory reset:
    • Press the MODE button of the camera for about 5 seconds until the camera restarts.
  6. The image is blurry:
    • Remove the protective film of the lens, if it is still unclear, please rotate the camera and focus the lens, you can get a clear image after focusing.
  7. The APP cannot search and detect the camera or cannot configure the network:
    • Please confirm that the device is connected normally, and check whether the permission to use the APP is restricted.

If the APP shows that connection failed, try checking the following

  • Common routers are supported. Public routers that require login page authentication are not supported for the time being.
  • Pay attention to the network name, network password and UID when configuring.
  • Currently, Chinese Wifi names, passwords and special symbols are not supported.
  • 5G Wifi is not supported.
  • The device is not online but the red light is always on, indicating that the camera is successfully connected to the Internet, it may be that the APP permission is not open, please check whether it is open.
  • If WiFi is in WEP encryption mode, please change to WPA mode.
