CAUT IONS
- To insure personal safety, proper grounding of the electrical fixture is required.
- The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
- Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture.
WI RING AND MOUNTI NG I NSTRUCTIONS
- Ensure power has been switched off before starting installation.
- If you are replacing an exisitng fixture, remove and disconnect the old fixture first.
- Expose the supply wires from the junction box.
- Ensure approximately 1/2in of insulation is removed from each wire.
- Position the supply wires with the white wire (neutral) on one side of the junction box and the black wire (hot) on the other side of the junction box.
- Attach the support cross bar by using the provided screws. These screws will screw into the junction box.
- Connect the green fixture wire (ground) to the supply ground wire (green or bare copper) using the provided wire nut.
- Connect the white wire (neutral) from the fixture to the white wire (neutral) from the junction box using the provided wire nuts.
- Connect the black wire (hot) from the fixture to the black wire (hot) from the junction box using the provided wire nuts.
- Align the canopy base over the mounting screws on the support cross bar.
- Thread the mounting screws through the slots in the canopy that align with the support cross bar mounting holes. Adjust the canopy until the screws are at the small end of the keyhole slots.
- Ensure that the wires are placed properly within the junction box. Tighten the mounting screws until the canopy base is seated firmly agaist the ceiling.
- The color temperature of the light may be adjusted from 5 options (2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K). When changing the color temperature the fixture must be powered off. Shown in figure 2.
- Place the diffuser on the canopy. Then place the metal ring on the diffuser. Let the 3 screws from the ring mount tubes protrude through the holes in the metal ring.
- Twist the three decorative nuts onto the ring mount tubes to secure the ring and diffuser.
- The installation is now complete, restore power and confirm functionality.
