FIXTURE INSTALLATION
- Connect the STEMS (K) until the desired hanging height is met. Add the HOOKS (Q) to each end of the STEM (K) then feed the wires through the STEM (K). Hook one end of the STEM (K) unto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L).
- Remove the SCREW COLLAR (I) from the COLLAR LOOP (H). Fully thread the NIPPLE (C) onto the COLLAR LOOP (H). Thread the HEX NUT (E) onto the NIPPLE (C) along with TOOTH WASHER (D). Then thread the NIPPLE (C) unto the MOUNTING PLATE (A). Adjust the NIPPLE (C) so that the threads of the COLLAR LOOP (H) extends 4″ beyond the CANOPY (J). Secure using HEX NUT (E).
- Pull the wires from the junction box then attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
- Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bare copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (F) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
- Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (G). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
- Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
- Lift the CANOPY (1) up into the ceiling then thread the SCREW COLLAR (I) to the exposed thread of the COLLAR LOOP (H). Lift the STEM (K) along with the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L), and hook the other end of the STEM (K) unto the COLLAR LOOP (H).
- Screw the BULB (M) into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L). THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE G LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
- Attach the GLASS (N) into the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L) then secure two GLASS (N) by placing the GLASS CLIP (0) between them and secure using FLATHEAD SCREW (P). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! 10. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
