Product Usage Instructions

Installation

Before installing the TR Wall Outlet, please read and follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before starting the installation.
  2. Remove the existing wall outlet cover plate.
  3. Disconnect the wires from the old outlet.
  4. Connect the wires to the corresponding terminals on the TR Wall Outlet. The black wire goes to the brass terminal, the white wire goes to the silver terminal, and the green or bare copper wire goes to the green terminal.
  5. Screw the TR Wall Outlet onto the electrical box using the provided screws.
  6. Attach the wall outlet cover plate to complete the installation.

Charging Devices

To charge devices using the USB ports on the TR Wall Outlet, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the TR Wall Outlet is properly installed and the power is turned on.

  2. Connect your device’s USB cable to either the USB-A or USB-C
    port on the TR Wall Outlet.

  3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your device.

  4. Your device will start charging automatically.

Installation

  1. TURN POWER OFF
    • Turn the power off at the circuit breaker or remove the fuse.
  2. REMOVE EXISTING OUTLET
    • Take off the wall plate and outlet by removing the mounting screws.
    • Carefully pull out the outlet from the wall.
    • Label wires connected to the existing outlet box and disconnect wires.
  3. STRIP WIRES
    • Strip wires to 5/8 inch if necessary. Use with #1#12 AWG copper or copper-clad wire.
  4. WIRE YOUR NEW OUTLET
    • Wire device as shown below.

  5. INSERT OUTLET INSIDE THE OUTLET BOX
    • Position all wires inside the outlet box with care, leaving enough room to insert the device.
    • Use provided mounting screws to attach the device securely inside the outlet box.
  6. ATTACH THE FACE PLATE TO THE OUTLET
    • Place the wall plate over the device.
    • Gently push the wall plate to ensure a flush fit.
    • Secure the plate onto the outlet using provided screws.
  7. TURN POWER ON
    • Turn the power on at the circuit breaker or replace the fuse.
