PRE-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

• This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
• Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
• The installation process may require drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
• All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.

ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING

REMOVING THE JOUNCE BUMPER

STEP 1. Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame, and the air spring assemblies can be put into position between the axle and frame.
STEP 2. Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper from the frame.

NOTE :
NOTE: You may need to cut it off or sand it down, so the bolt is flush to the bracket for some models.
STEP 3. Remove the original clip, then install the Universal nut (‘© of the Air spring bag kit list) into the frame for some early models.

INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET

STEP I. Attach the Upper mounting bracket A (‘Oo of the Air spring bag kit list) to the frame with bolts. And the slot hole in the middle goes to face toward inside the truck. STEP 2. Push the axle up so that the Upper mounting bracket B ( © of the Air spring bag kit list) can be bolted to the previous bracket(@Qof the Air spring bag kit list). Then tighten the nuts.

INSTALLING THE LOWER BRACKET

STEP 1. Placing the Lower mounting bracket ( of the Air spring bag kit list) on the axle. Then install the lower mounting bracket to the frame with washers and nuts.

NOTE: This sleeve and axle strap are mainly used for the lower bracket on the passenger side.
STEP 2. For some models, you may need to install the Adapter bracket (5 of the Air spring bag kit list) with lower mounting bracket. STEP 3. Place the Rolling plate (5 of the Air spring bag kit list) between the air spring bag and the lower mounting bracket, align the holes and lock them with bolts.

INSTALLING THE HEAT SHIELD (PASSENGER’S SIDE ONLY)

STEP1. Install the heat shield where it is closest to the passenger’s (right) side air spring. NOTE : Must slide the air line protective sleeve over the air line near the exhaust port.

INSTALLING THE AIR LINES

STEP I. Cut the air line appropriately and push the hose into the fitting, then pull back and make sure it’s locked in place. 

STEP 2. Install the inflatable valve in a selected location, usually on the license plate at the rear of the vehicle.

CHECK AIR TIGHTNESS

• Put some air into the air spring bag, then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves while checking for exiting air bubbles.
