NOTE
The upper mounting bracket on the passenger side is different from the
driver’s side.
REMOVING THE JOUNCE BUMPER AND PLACING THE ASSEMBLY ON THE AXLE
STEP1
Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the axle can be
safely dropped away from the frame, and the air spring assemblies can be put
into position between the axle and frame.
STEP2. Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper from the frame. Then get a
flathead screwdriver and pry the spring clips out.
STEP3
- 3. lnstall the Universal nut (31) of the Air spring bag kit list) and pray it into the frame rail. Make sure the nut is fully engaged in the position and do that for the other side as well.
STEP4
- Attach the Upper mounting bracket A (1) of the Air spring bag kit list) with bolts to the frame. The slotted hole goes to face towards the front of the vehicle and the large notch needs to face inside our truck.
STEP5
Place the assembly on the axle with the legs of the lower bracket on either side of the axle. Fasten the ABS line and brake line with a zip tie.
INSTALLING THE LOWER BRACKET

Next, take the Fastening block (8) of the Air spring bag kit list) to the Carriage bolt (40) of the Air spring bag kit list) and secure it. Finally tighten all nuts with washers.
NOTE
This nut must be tightened.
NOTE
You need to wrap it with fabric tape and measure the diameter. Then divide it
by 3.14 to ensure the Support block (9) -(10) of the Air spring bag kit
list ) size for the axle.
INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET
STEP1
- Remove the fifth wheel in your truck of the rear bolt on the driver’s side and two bolts on the passenger’s side.
STEP2
- Remove the bolt of the brake line bracket on the frame rail and pull it away from the frame.
STEP3
- Press down the bag to install the Driver’s side mounting bracket (5) of the Air spring bag kit list) and take the fifth wheel bolt pass through the frame. Then install the Stud (33) of the Air spring bag kit list) to go through the slotted hole.
DRIVER’S SIDE
NOTE
Install the Passenger’s side mounting bracket(Qot the Air spring bag kit list)
with washers and lock nuts directly.
STEP4
- Align the two brackets so that the Upper mounting bracket B (4) of the Air spring bag kit list) can be bolted to the previous bracket (1) of the Air spring bag kit list). Then tighten all the nuts.
INSTALLING THE HEAT SHIELD ( PASSENGER’S SIDE ONLY)
STEP1
- Install the heat shield to the exhaust port where it is closest to the passenger’s (right) side air spring.
INSTALLING THE AIRLINES
