SAFETY INSTRUCTION

WARNINGS

Risk of electric shock – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the fixture, please consult an electrician.
Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry.

CAUTIONS

The fixture must be wired under the National Electric Code (N.E.C) standards and any applicable local codes or ordinances.
Use UL or IEC-approved wire only for input/output connections.
Suitable for wet locations.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse before installation.
If you are replacing a fixture, remove and disconnect the old fixture.
Before installation begins select the desired color temperature by moving the switch on the back as shown in Figure 1.
Remove the front face plate by unscrewing the side screw (see Figure 2) using the supplied Allen key.
Connect the line voltage to the fixture by connecting the black to the black, white to the white, and the green to the green or bare copper wire using the provided wire nuts as shown in Figure 2.
Once the wires are connected carefully tuck the wires into the junction box and secure the fixture to the box using the provided screws.
Align the face plate with the bracket then press the faceplate onto the bracket and re-screw the side screw, securing them together.
Repeat this process for each step light being installed.
Restore power to the fixture(s) that have been installed.
Installation is now complete restore power and check the operation of the fixture(s).

Note:
When using this fixture outside, caulk the connection between the faceplate and the wall/step to improve the water resistance of the junction box.

PIR/Dusk to Dawn Functionality:

At night, when motion is detected, the light will turn on for about 35 seconds, and then shut off.
During the day, the light will not turn on, even if motion is detected.

3 YEAR WARRANTY

Maxxima extends a 3-year limited warranty to the original purchase that the products listed are free from defects in material and/or workmanship only. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period. Limited warranty is not transferable and applies to the original installation of the Maxxima product. This offer does not constitute in any way a product guarantee and Maxxima does not hereby assume any obligation whatsoever beyond sending a free replacement product.
