- This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
- Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit.
- The installation process may require drilling, professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
- All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
ASSEMBLING THE AIR SPRING
REMOVING THE JOUNCE BUMPER
STEP 1. Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the
axle can be safely dropped away from the frame, and the air spring assemblies
can be put into position between the leaf spring and frame. Remove the rear
wheels.
STEP 2. Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper.
PLACING THE ASSEMBLY ON THE AXLE
STEP 1. Placing the assembly on the axle.
INSTALLING THE LOWER BRACKET
STEP 1. Install the fastening bracket (3 of the Air spring bag kit list) to
the axle with bolts.
INSTALLING THE UPPER BRACKET
STEP 1. Placing the upper mounting bracket ( 1 of the Air spring bag kit list) on top of the air spring.
STEP 2. Adjust the axle to get the proper clearance, so that the air
spring bag and upper mounting bracket can be bolted together.
STEP 3. Adjust the air spring bag so that it is perpendicular to the
bottom and top mounting brackets without twisting.
STEP 4. Pass the bolts through the frame and upper mounting bracket in
turn, and then lock the air spring bag with the hex bolts.
STEP 5. Finally tighten all the bolts.
STEP 6. The driver side and passenger side are installed in the same way.
INSTALLING THE AIR LINES
STEP 1. Cut the air line appropriately and push the hose into the
fitting, then pull back and make sure it’s locked in place.
STEP 2. Install the inflatable valve in a selected location,
usually on the license plate at the rear of the vehicle.
CHECK AIR TIGHTNESS
- Put some air into the air spring bag, then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves while checking for exiting air bubbles.
