Installation Notes: The installation of safety elements, such as
the hood pin switch, is mandatory for proper functioning. This
module should be installed by a qualified technician to avoid any
damage to the vehicle.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that you have the following parts: Vehicle Key, ARE-1R0,
   1 Amp. Diode, 1.5 K Ohm resistor, and 7.5 Amp. Fuse.

2. If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin,
   program the bypass option by setting the function A11 to OFF.

3. Install the hood pin switch if remote starting with the hood
   open is not desired.

4. Connect the module following the wiring diagram provided in the
   user manual.

5. If necessary, add the firmware version and options using the
   FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold
   separately).

6. Program the bypass option based on your specific setup:

   • If using the OEM remote, program the bypass option by setting
     D1.10 or D1.1 UN.

   • If using the RF KIT antenna, program the bypass option with the
     RF antenna.

7. Ensure all doors are closed before starting the remote
   starter.

8. Monitor the status of the remote starter using the module’s red
   LED. The number of flashes indicates different states:

   • x3 flash: No tach
   • x4 flash: Ignition
   • x5 flash: Hood Open

9. Stick the warning card on a visible place or use the package
   RSPB for safety reminders.

10. To work on the vehicle, turn on the safety switch located under
    the dashboard.

11. If necessary, remove the battery from the key fob for easier
    installation.

Press and hold the programming button: Connect the 4-Pin Data-link connector.

The BLUE, RED, YELLOW and BLUE & RED LEDs will
alternatively illuminate.

Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE.

If the LED is not solid BLUE disconnect the 4-Pin connector (Data-Link) and go back to step 1.
