Product Information
This product is an item #N6686-874, a light fixture designed for indoor use. It is supplied with a mounting strap, fixture screws, a support cable, and various nuts and washers for installation. The fixture can accommodate up to six candelabra base bulbs with a maximum wattage rating of 60 watts each. It also supports CFL or LED equivalent bulbs. The product comes with a user manual that provides detailed instructions for installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully unpack the new fixture and ensure that all parts are present.
- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- If necessary, remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
- Pass the fixture wires through the provided thread and secure with a nut.
- Place the tube and cap over the thread.
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread the rods into the top of the fixture body.
- Pass the fixture wires through each rod as you assemble.
- Pass the wires through the canopy and pull them tight. Then thread the canopy onto the top of the rods.
- Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box using the provided box screws. Make sure the side marked GND faces out.
- Use the support cable to align the fixture with the mounting strap and attach it using the hook provided. The support cable will help support the weight of the fixture during wiring.
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3, ensuring that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting strap using the provided green screw.
- Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the outlet box.
- Place the canopy over the fixture screws (or all thread) and secure it with decorative nuts.
- Install the glass to the arm and secure it with the provided nut and plastic washers. It is recommended to install the glass from bottom to top.
- Install the final cap onto the bottom of the fixture body.
- Install up to six candelabra base bulbs or CFL/LED equivalent bulbs, ensuring not to exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Once the installation is complete, restore power to the outlet box and test the fixture.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! SHUT POWER OF FAT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
PREPARING THE FIXTURE (Fig.2)

Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any parts necessary for installation.

Shut off power at fuse box or circuit breaker. If necessary, remove old fixture, including mounting hardware.

Pass fixture wires through all thread (A). Thread all thread into coupling and secure with nut.

Place tube (B) and cap (C) over all thread.

By measuring determine desired hanging height and thread rods (D & E) into top of all thread of fixture body.

Carefully pass fixture wires through each rod as you assemble.

Pass wires through canopy (F) and pull until tight. Then thread canopy onto top of rods.

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

The mounting strap contains several pairs of threaded holes, find the pair of holes that match holes spacing in your fixture canopy and thread two fixture screws into mounting strap and tighten with hex nut. Note: The length of fixture screw into mounting strap may be adjusted if necessary.

Attach mounting strap to outlet box (not included) using box screws (Size: #8-32*0.5L). The side of mounting strap marked “GND” must face out.

The support cable is provided to support the weight of fixture while wiring. Align fixture to mounting strap and attach hook on the end of support cable into a slot located on mounting strap. Carefully allow support cable to support the weight of fixture while wiring.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3) -
At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting strap using green screw provided.

Tuck wire connectors neatly into outlet box.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1 & 2) -
Place canopy (F) over two fixture screws (or all thread) and secure with decorative nuts.

Install glass (I) to arm and secure with nut (J) and plastic washers (H) provided. (Recommendation: Install glass from bottom to top.)

Install final cap (G) onto bottom of body.

Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the
fixture.
