Product Information

The product is a model #72791-143-L fixture. It includes a mounting plate (Part# A-020), an LED module (Part# L-MD-C1402-8W), a ground screw, and mounting screws. The fixture is equipped with an AC LED 8W bulb. The maximum wattage rating should not be exceeded to ensure safe usage.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installation, shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
3. Carefully unpack the new fixture and ensure all parts are present.
4. Thread two screws into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, spaced apart as the holes in the back plate. Secure them with nuts.
5. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box using outlet box screws. Make sure the side marked “GND” faces out.
6. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2. Ensure all wire connectors are secured. If there is a ground wire in the outlet box, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the provided green screw.
7. Slide the back plate over the screws and secure it with cap nuts.
8. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of the fixture back plate where it meets the wall, leaving a space at the bottom for moisture to escape.
9. To replace the LED module, follow the steps in Fig. 4. Make sure to shut off power, remove glass panel, loosen screws and washers, separate the top cover from the fixture frame, and disconnect the plug on the wires. Reverse the steps to install the new LED module. Note that the LED module should be provided by a specified supplier.
10. Once the installation is complete, restore power to the outlet box and test the fixture.

Consult a qualified electrician if there are any concerns or questions regarding branch circuit conductors or fire risks.

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.

3. Thread two screws (C) into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate (B) spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the back plate and then secure with nuts. The length of screws (C) into mounting plate (B) may be adjusted if necessary.

4. Attach mounting plate (B) using outlet box screws (F) to outlet box (A) (not supplied). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out (Fig 1).

5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2. Making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
   Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (B) using the green screw (D) provided.
   FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

6. Slide back plate over screws (C) and secure with cap nuts (H) (Fig 1).

7. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box (A) (not supplied) and causing a short, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of fixture back plate where it meets the wall leaving a space at bottom to allow moisture a means to escape (Fig. 3)

Replacing LED

Replacing LED module (Fig.4)
The LED module can be replaced by a qualified electrician without cutting of wire and without damage to any decorative element to which the fixture is attached. See installation steps for more details (Fig.4).

• Shut off power. Remove Glass (R), loosen screws (I) and plastic washer (P), then remove glass panel (J).
• Loosen screws (Q) and rubber washer (K) on the LED module.
• Loosen screws (M) and separate the top cover (O) from the fixture frame (N), then disconnect the plug on the wires. Carefully remove LED module (L).
• Reverse steps a-c for installing the new LED module.

Note: The LED module should be provided by a specified supplier.
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.
