MINKA LAVERY 2662-717 Three Light Semi Flush Mount
Product Information
The product is a fixture with the item number 2662-723 or 2662-717. It is designed for installation in residential or commercial settings. The fixture requires a power source from an outlet box and is compatible with candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL/LED equivalents. The maximum wattage rating should not be exceeded for safe usage. The package includes a mounting plate, ground screw, outlet box screw, and two candle covers (CCV21080P-737 for item 2662-723 and CCV21080P-778 for item 2662-717).

Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker to prevent electrical accidents.
- If there is an existing fixture, including mounting hardware, it should be removed carefully.
- Open the carton containing the new fixture and verify that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
- Adjust the arms (I) of the fixture to the desired position, referring to the provided illustration (L).
- Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box (not included) using the outlet box screw.
- Connect the fixture wires to the house wires:
- Connect the black or smooth fixture wire to the black (hot) house wire.
- Connect the white or ribbed fixture wire to the white (neutral) house wire.
- Connect the bare copper fixture wire to the green (ground) house wire.
- Install up to three candelabra base bulbs or CFL/LED equivalents (not included) into the fixture, following the fixture specification. Ensure that the total wattage does not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Once the installation is complete, restore power to the outlet box.
- Test the fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
- Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If necessary, remove old fixture, including mounting hardware.
- Carefully remove fixture from carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
- Adjust arms (I) to proper position. Refer to illustration (L).
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE
(Fig. 2)
- Attach mounting plate to the outlet box (not included) with outlet box screws (Size: #8-32N*L1”). The side of the mounting plate with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3)
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3 making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
- Tuck wire connections neatly into outlet box. Raise canopy to ceiling and secure with mounting screws.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1)
- Place bobeches (K) over candle covers (J).
- Hang wooden drops (N,P) on fixture body in proper position.
- Thread finial (H) to fixture body and attach wooden drops (P).
- Install (3) three candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification
DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.
