Product Usage Instructions

1. For vehicles equipped with Virtual Cluster, the key bypass is not supported.
2. Mandatory Installation: Install the HOOD PIN CONTACT DE CAPOT. If the vehicle can be non-remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF.
3. Security Warning: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
4. To program the bypass option, follow these steps:
   • Program the remote starter option for Diesel using function 18.
   • For COMFORT GROUP ACTIVATION, use function 32, 38, or 39.
5. Parts required for key bypass programming (not included):
   • 1x TB-VW (key bypass)
   • 1x Fuse
   • 2x Diodes
6. To release the cover of the connector, pull the clips.
7. For MANUAL TRANSMISSION, use the appropriate clutch bypass option.
8. Connect the necessary wires according to the provided diagram:
   • Clutch switch: Commutateur de l’embrayage
   • Parking lights switch: Commutateur des feux de stationnement
   • OBD-II connector: Connecteur OBD-II
   • IGNITION OUTPUT FOR CONVENIENT DEVICE
   • HOOD PIN CONTACT CAPOT: Yellow In AA11, Purple Out AA22, Purple/White Out AA33, Green Out AA44, White Out AA55, Orange Out AA66, Orange/Black Out AA77, Dk.Blue Out AA88, Red/Blue In AA99, (~) RX Lt.Blue/Black In/Out AA1100, Black In AA1111, Pink Out AA1122, Yellow/Black Out AA1133

HOOD PIN

HOOD STATUS : THE HOOD PIN SWITCH (INCLUDED)  MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.
Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin and the sticker are essential security elements and must be installed.
THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

• FLASH LINK MOBILE APP

• Smartphone Android or iOS with Internet connection (Internet provider charges may apply)

BEFORE PROGRAMMING SET THE UNIT OPTIONS AND SAVE.

1. Take out the battery from the remote control.

2. Place the transponder’s ring in front of the remote control.

3. With the remote beside the antenna ring, proceed with the programming on the next pages.

4. USE THE R-LINK* TOOL FOR PROGRAMMING*
   Sold separately **

5. WARNING:
   Close and open the driver door.

6. Press and hold the programming button: Insert the 6-Pin Main connector.
   The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes.

7. Release the programming button when the BLUE LED is ON.

8. Insert the required remaining connectors.

9. Press the Push-to-Start button to turn ON the ignition.

10. Press and release the programming button once (1x).
    The BLUE LED will turn off.
    Wait,
    The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.

11. Press and hold the programming button.
    The BLUE LED will turn OFF.
    Wait,
    The RED LED will turn ON.

12. WAIT,
    this processe may take up to 5 minutes
    Wait, do not touch the vehicle or the module.
    The BLUE, RED and YELLOW LEDs will rapidly alternate.
    the RED LED to turn ON.
    Wait,
    the YELLOW LED will flash once.

13. Wait,
    Wait for the RED and YELLOW LEDs to slowly alternate.
    If the RED LED flashes slowly, the programming has failed, go back to step1 and start the programming over.

14. Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn off the ignition.

15. Disconnect all connectors and after the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.

16. Microsoft Windows Computer with  Internet connection
    Use the tool:
    FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu.

17. AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING COMPLETED
    Go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-pins (Data-Link) connector and after all the remaining connector.

    NOTE
    IF PROGRAMMING IS INTERRUPTED DURING THE PROCESS, SUCH AS A MODULE IS DISCONNECTED OR BY TURNING OFF THE IGNITION WITH THE KEY, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE VEHICLE WILL NO LONGER START NORMALLY, YOU MUST DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT THE VEHICLE BATTERY TO CORRECT THE SITUATION.

18. Take out the remote control from the transponder’s ring.

19. Insert the battery into the remote control.

20. Connect the TB-VW instead of the R-LINK.

The module is now programmed.

Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.
