FORTIN 86001 Ford GT 2008 Standard Key Remote Starters and Alarm Systems
Product Information:
This user manual is for the Transponder Bypass product designed for Ford GT vehicles from 2005-2008. It provides information on the firmware version and options, which can be added using the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately). Product Usage Instructions
- To add the firmware version and options, you need to use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool. Connect the tool to your computer or smartphone with an internet connection.
- If using a computer, make sure it is a Microsoft Windows computer with an internet connection. If using a smartphone, ensure it is an Android or iOS device with an internet connection.
- Reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector and then connect all the remaining connectors.
- Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCryptor menu for further configuration.
- It is recommended to regularly check for updated firmware and installation guides on the manufacturer’s website before installing the product.

BEFORE PROGRAMMING SET THE UNIT OPTIONS AND SAVE.
Make sure to have one valide vehicle key.

If the vehicle equipped with SMART KEY:
Remove the valet key from the back of the OEM remote. -
Keep all OEM remotes at least 3 meters (10 feet) away from the vehicle to proceed.
REMOTE STARTER / ALARM VERIFICATION PROCEDURE
- Adjust the remote-carstarters tachometer setting (if required).
- Test the remote-carstarter and keylessentry functionality
- Place the key in front the ignition barrel.
- The remote starter must be able to start the vehicle.
The remote starter must be able to start the vehicle.

Press and hold the programming button:
Insert the 4-Pin (Data-link Connector connector. -
Release the programming button when the LED is RED.
If the LED is not solid RED disconnect the 4-Pin connector (Data-Link) and go back to step 1. -
Insert the required remaining connectors.

Press and release the programming button once (1x).
The RED LED will flash once. -
Turn the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
WAIT the RED LED will turn OFF.
The YELLOW LED will turn on. -
Turn the Ignition to the OFF position.
WAIT the YELLOW LED will turn OFF.
Lathe RED LED will turn ON. -
Turn the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
The RED and YELLOW LEDs will alternate. -
Turn the Ignition to the OFF position.

Disconnect all connectors.

Use the tool:
FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu.
Parts required (not included) -
Reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector and after, all the remaining connector.
The module is now programmed
