WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1 & Fig. 2)

Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If necessary, remove old fixture including mounting hardware.

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

Pass fixture wires up through center stem (M). Screw center stem (M) to fixture body. Pass fixture wires up through fixture loop (P). Screw fixture loop (P) to center stem (M).

Attach all thread (E) with two hex nuts pointing down to mounting bracket (A) with ground screw pointing down until you reach the hex nut. Secure with hex nut (X). Screw canopy loop (W) onto the other end of all thread (E).

Secure mounting bracket (A) to junction box with junction box screws (B).

Attach quick link (G) to fixture loop (P) and chain (H).
Completely close quick link (G). Determine desired hanging height of fixture. Use chain pliers to open chain links.
Remove excess chain. Weave fixture wires through chain links. Attach quick link (G) and slide canopy ring (F) and canopy (D) over chain and fixture wires. Attach quick link (G) to canopy loop (W). Ensure quick link is completely closed. -
Feed wires through canopy loop (W) and all thread (E). Pull fixture wires tight.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3)
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar (A)using the green screw provided.
- Tuck wire connections neatly into junction box.
INSTALLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
- Slide canopy (D) over canopy loop (W) and secure with canopy ring (F).
- Slide cups (K) over sockets.
- Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
Notice: It is important to
use proper chain pliers (not included) To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included
with this fixture. Do not open them with other tools that may twist or stress
the chain links. It is important to use proper chain pliers like the ones
shown in the diagram.
