Product Information
The product is a hanging light fixture, item numbers 1405 and 1406-781. It is designed to be installed in a room or space and provides lighting. The fixture comes with all the necessary parts, including mounting hardware, rods, crossbar, ground screw, mounting screws, wire connectors, canopy, finials, shade screws, glass, and socket ring. Please refer to the illustration in the manual for a visual representation of the parts.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker to avoid any electrical hazards.
- To hang the fixture, follow the steps below:
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture along with its mounting hardware.
- Take out the fixture from the packaging and check that all the parts are included.
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread the rods (H, I) accordingly.
- To connect the wires, follow the steps below:
- Refer to figure 2 in the manual for guidance on connecting the electrical wires.
- Ensure that all wire connectors (E) are securely attached.
- If your junction box (A) has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. If not, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar (C) using the provided green screw.
- Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the junction box (A).
- To finish the installation, follow the steps below:
- Slide the screws (B) through the canopy and secure them with the finials (G).
- Place the shade (N) over the socket (M) and secure it with the shade screws (L).
- Place the glass (O) over the socket (M) and secure it with the socket ring (P).
- Install one medium base bulb (Q) up to 60 watts or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) according to the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Note: The illustration in figure 1 is for installation purposes only and may not be identical to the purchased fixture.
- Finally, ensure that the fixture is properly installed by a qualified electrician to ensure correct wiring and installation.
Your installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
HANGING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)

Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture including the mounting hardware.

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (H, I) to the all thread on top of fixture body (J). Pass the wires carefully through each rod as you assemble. Secure swivel
(F) on canopy to rod (H). Carefully feed the wire through the swivel (F). -
Thread screws (B) into the pre-drilled holes in crossbar (C) spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the canopy. The length of screws (B) may be adjusted if necessary.

Attach crossbar (C) to junction box (A) (not included) using mounting screws (D) (Size: #8-32N*L25mm). The side of the crossbar (C) marked “GND” must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) -
Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors (E) are secured. If your junction box (A) has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to crossbar (C) using the green screw provided.

Tuck the wire connectors neatly into junction box (A).
FINISH THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Slide screws (B) through the canopy and secure with finials (G).

Place shade (N) over socket (M) and secure with shade screws (L).

Place glass (O) over socket (M) and secure with socket ring (P).

Install (1) One medium base bulb (Q) up to 60 watts or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Note: Illustration (Fig.1) on this manual is for installation purposes
only. It may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased.
IMPORTANT: FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO
ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND INSTALLATION.
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test
the fixture.
