This user manual provides installation instructions for the 1995-862/1996-862 product. The product is a fixture that requires electrical power to operate. It comes with various parts, including a crossbar, mounting screws, a canopy, and rods of different lengths.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- If there is an existing fixture, remove it along with all the mounting hardware from the junction box.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area, taking care not to lose any necessary parts for installation.
- Assembling the Fixture:
- Screw all thread (P) onto coupling (Q).
- Slide cup (O) over all thread (P) and onto metal shade (R), then secure with rod (N).
- Screw all thread (M) into rod (N).
- Slide metal ball (L) over all thread (M) and secure with coupling (K).
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (G, H, I, J) to coupling (K). Then thread swivel (F) of canopy (D) onto rod (G). Pass wires carefully through each rod, swivel (F), and canopy (D).
- Mounting the Fixture:
- Thread two mounting screws (C) into crossbar (A), spaced the same distance apart as holes in canopy (D). Adjust the length of mounting screws (C) into crossbar (A) if necessary.
- Ensure that the fixture is mounted securely in accordance with the fixture specification.
- Make sure not to exceed the specified wattage for the fixture to prevent any electrical issues.
- After completing the installation, return power to the junction box and test the fixture to ensure it is functioning correctly.
Important: Refer to Fig.1 and Fig.2 in the user manual for visual representations of the fixture and its components.

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER .
PREPATION

Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. If necessary, remove the old fixture and all mounting hardware from junction box.

Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any parts necessary for installation.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE(Fig.1) -
Screw all thread (P) onto coupling (Q).

Slide cup (O) over all thread (P) and onto metal shade (R), then secure with rod (N).

Screw all thread (M) into rod (N).

Slide metal ball (L) over all thread (M), and secure with coupling (K).

Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (G, H, I, J) to coupling (K). Then thread swivel (F) of canopy (D) onto rod (G). Pass wires carefully through each rod, swivel (F), and canopy (D).
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1) -
Thread two mounting screws (C) (Size: #8-321.4″L) into crossbar (A) spaced same distance apart as holes in canopy (D). Length of mounting screws (C) into crossbar (A) may be adjusted if necessary. Attach crossbar (A) to junction box (Not included) using junction box screws (B) (Size: #8-320.6”). The side of crossbar (A) marked “GND” must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2) -
Connect the electrical wires as shown in figure 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the ground wires to it. Otherwise, connect the ground wire directly to the crossbar (A) and secure using the green screw provided.

Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box. COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

Slide canopy (D) over mounting screws (C) and secure with cap nuts (E).

Install (1) one medium base bulb up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. (DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE!) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
