Product Information
This product is an item with the model number 1105-66A. It is a fixture designed for installation in a residential or commercial setting. The fixture includes a metal cover, thread rods, a canopy, a mounting plate, wire connectors, a glass shade, a plastic washer, a metal plate, a finial, and mounting screws.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area, taking care not to misplace any small parts.
- Assemble the fixture with the chain loop by placing the metal cover over all thread. Determine the desired hanging height and attach the thread rods to the all thread. Screw the canopy onto one of the rods and pass the wires through each rod during assembly.
- Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure that the side of the mounting plate marked with GND faces out.
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2. Make sure all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
- Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- Place the canopy over the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
- Thread all thread to the coupling and tighten with the hex nut. Adjust the top hex nut position if necessary.
- Install three medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each or CFL/LED equivalent, following the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Place the glass shade, plastic washer, and metal plate through the all thread, then secure with the hex nut.
- Screw the finial onto the all thread until tight.
- Once the installation is complete, return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
Note: The illustration in Fig. 1 is for installation purposes only and may not be identical to the fixture purchased.
