Product Information
The product is a lighting fixture with the model number 1994-862. It comes with all the necessary parts for installation, including a crossbar, mounting screws, junction box screws, canopy, cap nuts, and rods.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- If there is an existing fixture, remove it along with the mounting hardware from the junction box.
- Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Make sure not to lose any parts.
- Assembling the Fixture:
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (G, H, I, J) to coupling (K).
- Thread swivel (F) of canopy (D) onto rod (G).
- Pass wires carefully through each rod, swivel (F), and canopy (D).
- Mounting the Fixture:
- Thread two mounting screws (C) into the crossbar (A) spaced apart as holes in canopy (D).
- Adjust the length of the mounting screws (C) into the crossbar (A) if necessary.
- Attach the crossbar (A) to the junction box using junction box screws (B). Ensure that the side marked GND faces out.
- Connecting the Wires:
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in figure 2, ensuring that all wire connectors are secured.
- If your junction box has a ground wire, connect the ground wires to it. Otherwise, connect the ground wire directly to the crossbar (A) using the provided green screw.
- Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- Completing the Installation:
- Slide the canopy (D) over the mounting screws (C) and secure it with cap nuts (E).
- Slide the metal shade (M) over the socket (L) and secure it with the socket cup (N).
- Install one medium base bulb up to 100 watts or CFL or LED equivalent in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the specified wattage.
- Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. If necessary, remove the old fixture and all mounting hardware from junction box.

Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any parts necessary for installation.
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE(Fig.1) -
Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (G, H, I, J) to coupling (K). Then thread swivel (F) of canopy (D) onto rod (G). Pass wires carefully through each rod, swivel (F), and canopy (D).
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1) -
Thread two mounting screws (C) (Size: #8-321.4″L) into crossbar (A) spaced same distance apart as holes in canopy (D). Length of mounting screws (C) into crossbar (A) may be adjusted if necessary. Attach crossbar (A) to junction box (not included) using junction box screws (B) (Size: #8-320.6”). The side of crossbar (A) marked “GND” must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2) -
Connect the electrical wires as shown in figure 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the ground wires to it. Otherwise, connect the ground wire directly to the crossbar (A) and secure using the green screw provided.

Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Slide canopy (D) over mounting screws (C) and secure with cap nuts (E).

Slide metal shade (M) over socket (L) and secure with socket cup (N).

Install (1) one medium base bulb up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. (DO NOT
EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE!) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
