Product Information

The product is an item with the model number 5906-655. It is a fixture that is designed to be installed in a junction box. The fixture comes with various parts including a mounting plate, ground screw, junction box screw, rod, candle cover, and other hardware. Please note that the illustration in the manual (Fig. 1) is for installation purposes only and may not be identical to the fixture purchased. The fixture weighs over 10 lbs and it is recommended to remove any flowers or decorative elements before removing the canopy from the mounting plate for future wire connection inspection or fixture removal.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation process, make sure to shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
2. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware, from the junction box.
3. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts.
4. Refer to Fig. 1 for the following steps:
   • Attach the mounting plate (Set#A-020-A) to the junction box using the provided junction box screws (x2).
   • Secure the ground screw (x1) to the mounting plate.
5. Refer to Fig. 2 for the following steps:
   • Connect the fixture wires (black or smooth) to the house wires (black or hot).
   • Connect the fixture wires (white or ribbed) to the house wires (white or neutral).
   • Connect the fixture wires (bare copper) to the house wires (green or ground).
6. Securely fasten and tighten all wire connections.
7. Attach the candle cover (CCV20060P-655) to the fixture body.
8. Refer to Fig. 3 for the following steps:
   • Attach the canopy to the mounting plate using the provided mounting screws (x2).
   • Secure the knob (x2) and quick link (x1) to the canopy for additional support.
9. Once the installation is complete, restore power to the junction box.
10. Test the fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.

PREPARATION (Fig. 1)

1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
   ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1 &Fig.3)

3. Adjust the arms to the proper position. Refer to illustration (J).

4. Thread rod (G3) to fixture body (K), determine the desired hanging height, and thread rods (G2, G1) to rod (G3). Then screw loop (F1) to rods (G1 or G2). Pass the wires carefully through each rod as you assemble.

5. Attach quick link (E) to loop (F1) and loop (F2) on the canopy (C). Carefully feed the wire through the loop (F1), quick link (E) and loop (F2).

6. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) with junction box screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L1”). The side of the mounting plate (A) with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out.
   CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If the junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.

8. Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
   COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

9. Slide canopy (C) over mounting screws (U) attached to mounting plate (A) and secure with knobs (D).

10. Place “flower” (I) over candle covers (H).

11. Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DE PASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

Note

1. The illustration (Fig. 1) in this manual is for installation purposes only. It may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased.
2. The fixture is over 10 lbs. Please remove all flowers before removing the canopy from the mounting plate to inspect wire connections in the future.
3. This will allow you to hold the fixture body during wire connection inspection or fixture removal. Fig.3
