Product Usage Instructions
-
Before starting the installation, shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
-
Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware carefully.
-
Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area.
-
Attach the crystal ball (T) to the tube (S).
-
Install the fabric shade (M) on the arms (R) using the metal nuts (N) and place the decorative ring (L) on the fabric shade.
-
Determine the desired height and thread rods (G1 and G2) together. Screw loop (I1) to rod (G1). Pass the wires carefully through each rod as you assemble. Attach the bottom end of the rod into the coupling (J).
-
Attach the quick link (H) to loop (I2) on the canopy (D). Carefully feed the wire through loop (I1), quick link (H), and loop (I2).
-
Attach the circular strap (B) to the junction box using the junction box screws (C). Ensure that the side of the circular strap (B) marked GND is facing out. Adjust the mounting screw if necessary.
-
Use the support cable (E) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to the circular strap (B) and attach the hook on the end of the support cable (E) into a slot located on the circular strap (B). Allow the support cable (E) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring.
-
Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2. Ensure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the
circular strap (B) using the green screw provided. Neatly tuck the wire connectors into the junction box. -
Raise the fixture over the mounting screws (A) and secure it with decorative nuts (F).
-
Place candle covers (Q) over sockets (V), then place tube covers (K) over candle covers (Q). Install four candelabra base bulbs (X) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
-
Attach the leaf finial (O) with coupling (P).
-
The installation is now complete. Turn on the power supply of the junction box to test the fixture.
