Installation Instructions

  • WARNING: Shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation.
  • AVERTISSEMENT: Couper le courant au niveau des fusibles ou du disjoncteur avant l’installation.

Mounting the Fixture (Fig.1)

  1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.

  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.

  3. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the outlet box using the mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5). The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out.
    Connecting the Wires (Fig. 2)

  4. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in figure 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it and secure with the wire connectors. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully into the ceiling junction box.
    Finishing the Installation (Fig. 1)

  5. Place the Backplate (G) over the mounting plate (A), and secure it with screws (C).

  6. Install the light bulb(s) (E) (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

  7. Place the glass (F) over the socket and twist to secure it to the fixture.

Fixture Wires White or Ribbed
Fixture Wires Bare Copper (Ground)
House Wires Black (Hot)
House Wires White (Neutral)
House Wires Green (Ground)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

After wires are connected, tuck them carefully into the ceiling junction box.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
