Frequently Asked Questions
Why does one of my wireless earphones only function?
Depending on the audio settings on your headset, it might only play in one ear. So, make sure the mono option is off in your audio properties by checking your audio properties. Make sure the voice levels on both earbuds are balanced as well.
How long does it take to charge an iLive wireless earbud?
To charge, connect the provided USB cable to a USB port on a working computer. Before using, thoroughly recharge. When charging, the indicator will flash red; when fully charged, it will turn blue. The first charging takes about two hours.
How can I tell when the battery in my iLive earbuds is full?
When completely charged, the light will briefly turn blue before shutting off. Click to change the volume. Press and hold to fast-forward or rewind.
How durable are iLive wireless earbuds?
The speaker casing can last up to five hours at half volume and the earphones up to six hours at half volume, according to iLive.
My earbuds are so quiet—why?
You may discover that your volume is too low because of the operating systems on some phones. The most popular solution for Android devices is to disable Bluetooth Absolute Volume in your phone’s settings. This might be found in your phone’s developer options for some devices.
Do wireless earbuds allow for volume adjustment?
While typical wireless earbuds with an audio cord connecting two earpieces include integrated volume controls, true wireless earbuds have touch-sensitive or conventional buttons on their housings.
My earbuds are so low—why?
The condition of your headphone jack is crucial. The headphone jack might become clogged with grit, filth, or pocket lint, which can interfere with the audio transmission and distort or make the sound too muted. Simply remove any visible debris using a cotton bud or cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol.
How do you pair earbuds that are truly wire-free?
Press and hold the Function button on both earbuds until they begin to blink blue and red to manually connect the earbuds. When they successfully link, one of the earbuds’ indicator LEDs will start blinking blue and red. They will then automatically pair with one another. The connection will also be announced through voice prompt.
Why are my earbuds unable to connect to my phone?
If your Bluetooth devices aren’t connecting, they probably aren’t in pairing mode or are out of range. Try rebooting your devices or letting your phone or tablet “forget” the connection if you’re experiencing persistent Bluetooth connection issues.
My earbuds won’t connect; why?
Go to Settings > System > Advanced> Reset Options > Reset Wi-fi, mobile, & Bluetooth on Android devices. For iOS and iPadOS devices, you’ll need to unpair every device first, then restart your phone or tablet by going to Settings > Bluetooth, selecting the info icon, then selecting Forget This Device for each device.
