Quick guide

Connect external devices, such as speakers, microphones and musical instruments, etc. Make sure all external devices connected to this device are turned off

Let the speakers emit sound

  1. Connect the included Type-C power cord.

  2. Make sure that all the switches on the machine are not actually turned on (pressed).

  3. Adjust all the level control knobs to the left (minimum) all the way. Including [GAIN] knob (red), [LEVEL] knob (blue), and [MAIN] knob (red).

  4. Set the equalizer knob (green) to the center “12 o’clock” position.

  5. If you connect a CD player or a device with a high output level of the electronic keyboard light to channels 1-3, turn on {_) the [PAD] switch of the corresponding channel. Micfuns-M-5 Mini Audio-DJ-Mixer-Sound-Board-Console-System-03

  6. Make sure that the volume of the powered speakers or power amplifier is adjusted to the minimum.

  7. Turn on the power of the connected devices in the following order:
    Microphone -+ musical instrument -+ audio equipment -+ mixer power supply-+ speaker Note Follow this order to avoid loud unexpected noise from the speakers. Turn off the power by reversing the order.

  8. Turn the [MAIN] knob to adjust to the “12 o’clock direction” position.

  9. For channels connected to a microphone, you can set the [GAIN] knob to approximately 12 o’clock.

  11. While playing an instrument or singing into the microphone, increase the volume of the active speaker or amplifier until the desired volume is reached.

  12. Set the [LEVEL] knob as required to adjust the volume balance between the corresponding channels.
    Note There are three functions to adjust the volume: [PAD], [GAIN] and [LEVEL]. Once the [PAD] switch and [GAIN] knob have been set, do not adjust these controls as much as possible. Generally, the volume is adjusted with the [LEVEL] knob.

Computer recording

System-07Connect the mixer and the computer equipment with the cable, and then directly open the recording software to record (no need to install a driver).

Connect to the computer recording settings:
Windows system settings

  1. Open the Start menu, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Open the sound preferences from the control panel folder.
  3. Click “Record” and set the microphone to the default value to start recording.

Apple system settings

  1. Open the “System Preferences” application.
  2. Find “Sound” and click to open it.

  1. [MIC/LI NE] mono input jack (channels 1-3)
    Used to connect microphones, musical instruments, or audio equipment (CD players, etc.) to this device. These jacks support both XLR and phone plugs

  2. [PAD] switch
    Turning on this switch will attenuate the sound input to the device. If you hear distortion or the [PEAK] LED (j) indicator lights up, you can turn on the switch.

  3. [HPF] (High Pass Filter) switch
    Turning on this switch will enable the high-pass filter, attenuating frequencies below 80 Hz. When speaking into the microphone, you may need to turn on this switch to minimize unwanted vibrations and breath sounds picked up by the microphone.

  4. [GAIN] knob
    Determines the basic volume of each channel from channel 1 to 4. Adjust these controllers to make the corresponding [PEAK] LED 0 flash briefly when singing and playing at the maximum volume.

  5. Equalizer (EQ) knob
    Use the [HIGH] (high band) and [LOW] (low band) knobs to adjust the sound quality. If you do not need to adjust the sound quality, you can set the knob to the “12 o’clock direction” position.

  6. [EFF] Effect switch
    The EFF control adjusts the effect volume of the corresponding channel.

  7. [PEAK] LEO
    It will light up when the volume of the input signal or the volume after the equalizer is too high {when it reaches 3dB below the clipping distortion). If it lights up frequently, turn the [GAIN] knob© to the left to decrease the volume.

  8. [LEVEL] knob
    Used to adjust the volume balance between each channel. Usually this switch is set to the “3 o’clock direction” position.

  9. [ST/PC I/ USB .-.] switch
    It is used to select the output destination of the input signal of channel 4/5.

  10. Lotus output port
    Used for output connecti.ons, devices that support lotus line sockets.

  11. Lotus input port
    For input connections, devices that support lotus line jacks.

  12. 6.35 Input port
    It is used for input connection and supports 6.35-line jack devices.

  13. 6.35 output port
    It is used for output connection and supports 6.35 line socket equipment.

  14. XLR output port
    It is used for output connection and supports 6.35 line socket equipment.

  15. [PAO +48V] Switch/LED
    When the switch is turned on, the LED lights up to the device has applied DC+48V Panthom microanatomy power to the XLR plug on the [MIC/LINE]indicate ono input that port (D. When using a condenser home powered by phantom power, turn on this switch.
    NOTE
    If you do not need phantom power supply, be sure to set this switch to off. When operating this switch , please observe the following important precautions in order to prevent noise and damage to the unit and external equipment.

    • When the microphone or other equipment connected on channels 1-3 does not support the phantom power supply function, make sure that the switch is kept off.
    • When the switch is on, do not connect/disconnect the cables on channels 1-3.
    • Before operating this switch, set the [LEVEL] knobs of channels 1-3 to minimum.
  16. USB input
    Used for USB port device input.

  17. Display
    Used to display USB mode or Bluetooth mode.

  18. MP3 player controller
    The first right button: playback pause; the second right button: next song; the left button: switch the sound source mode; the right button: previous song.

  19. [DELAY] Delay effect knob
    Adjust the intensity of the delay effect processing for the input signal.

  20. Level meter
    The Land R level meters will be displayed in 5 levels: “+10”, “+6”, “+0”, “-3” and “-10” dB respectively.

  21. [REPEAT] Reverb effect knob
    Adjust the intensity of the reverberation effect processing for the input signal.

  22. [PHONES] output jack
    Used to connect headphones.

  23. [PHONES] knob
    You can adjust the volume of the sound output from the [PHONES] jack.

  24. [MAIN] knob
    The main signal output control knob.

  25. [DCSV 1 A] Type-C power socket
    Used to connect the included power cord.

  26. [PC/REC] indicator
    When a computer device is connected, the indicator light will light up.

  27. PC output port
    The sound of the stereo bus will be output to the computer.
