HOW TO SETUP
- Go to the “MORE” screen on your Oral-B app after launching it.
- Choose “YOUR BRUSH” from the menu’s options.
- At the bottom of the screen, click “CONNECT NEW BRUSH.”
- When requested to connect your toothbrush, choose “YES”.
- On the welcome screen, click “START.”
HOW TO TURN ON/OFF
The on/off button on our Oral-B Vitality and all Oral-B toothbrushes with a “mode” button turns the toothbrush on and turns it off when pressed once.
HOW TO CHARGE
- Use a live electrical socket to connect the USB cord to the wall adapter.
- Place the toothbrush handle on the elevated portion of the charging pad.
- When the charging pad beeps and the battery indicator begins to flash white, your toothbrush is charging.
HOW TO CHECK BATTERY LEVEL
A battery charge and low battery status indicator is visible on the handle of brushes in our Pro line. You will see a charge indication and a battery status symbol if you have an iO or Genius handle.
HOW TO RESET
By depressing the on/off button for 10 seconds, you can reset the handle. To let you know if this has been accomplished, all of the lights should blink twice in rapid succession.

Can you get additional heads and share the same unit****
This is a great question, and we’re happy to say that all of our brush heads fit all of our electric brush handles. This makes swapping brush heads an easy task.
what does 7G mean?****
It’s just a model Number and denotes how many features it has. i.e. the 8G has more cycles than the 7Gand also costs more. The 7G is more than adequate for my needs so it’s buyers choice.
Hi voltage is 110v ~220v ?****
The voltage is 100 – 240 V.
does this have to be plugged in to an outlet to charge while not in use? Or can it be charged once in a while and then unplugged?****
You’re welcome to charge your Oral-B electric toothbrush only when needed. However, please note that you can always store the handle on the plugged-in charger to maintain it at full power; a battery overcharge is prevented by the device.

No, it cannot be charged with 220V.

Difference in accessories. The electric brush itself is the same unit.

The charger for the Oral-B iO7 Toothbrush is 100-240V and can be used globally without the need of a converter.
Can this handle use normal oral b brush head?****
Our Oral-B iO toothbrush handle is only compatible with our Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean brush heads and our Oral-B iO Gentle Care brush heads.
Can I order just the refill brush holder? can’t seem to find it anywhere for io 7 series.****
You can order the replacement brush heads from Amazon. That is what I did. Have not found them in any stores. I bought my toothbrush at Costco; however, they did not have any replacement heads for the iO.
Is there anywhere to purchase io brush heads for a reasonable, less expensive than $10 price?****

Is there a cap or cover for the head?****
There is no cap or cover for the head that fits while on the brush handle.
Does the brush head rotate or just vibrate?****
