Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture, item# 6542, designed for installation in residential or commercial spaces. It comes with a mounting plate (A), glass shade (E), metal ring (H), and necessary screws and connectors. The fixture is compatible with standard electrical wiring systems and is suitable for use with incandescent or LED bulbs.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the power supply to the circuit is shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
3. Take the new fixture out of the carton and verify that all parts are included.
4. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box using the provided screws (B). Make sure that the side of the mounting plate marked GND faces out.
5. Connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram shown in Fig. 2. Use wire connectors to secure the connections. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided. Ensure that all wires are carefully tucked inside the outlet box.
6. Place the fixture body (D) over the mounting plate (A) and secure it with screws (C).
7. Attach the glass shade (E) and metal ring (H) over the socket and fasten them with the screw shell (F) using the spanner (G) provided.
8. Install a bulb (not included) into the socket following the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating specified. (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
9. Once the installation is complete, restore power to the circuit and test the fixture.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.

2. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

3. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box using the screws (B). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
   CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

4. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the outlet box.
   FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1)

5. Place fixture body (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (C).

6. Place the glass shade (E) and Metal Ring (H) over the socket and fasten with screw shell (F) by spanner (G) provided.

7. Install the bulb (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)(NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
   Your installation is now complete. Return power and test the fixture.
