Product Information

The product is a fixture that requires mounting and wiring. It comes with a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screws, socket ring, large glass shade, round ring, small glass shade, cushion ring, and a socket ring tool. The fixture is designed to be connected to an outlet box and can accommodate a bulb within a certain wattage range.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is turned off at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
2. Remove any existing fixture from the wall along with its mounting hardware.
3. Take out the new fixture from the carton and verify that all the parts are present.
4. Attach the provided mounting plate to the outlet box using the outlet box screws. The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” should face outward.
5. If your outlet box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting strap using the green screw provided.
6. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall outlet box.
7. Place the large glass shade, round ring, small glass shade, and cushion ring in that order over the socket.
8. Secure the components with the socket ring using the socket ring tool.
9. Install a bulb according to the fixture’s specifications, ensuring that the maximum wattage rating is not exceeded.
10. Once the installation is complete, restore power to the junction box.
11. Test the fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)

1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If necessary, remove the old fixture from wall including the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
3. Attach the mounting plate (I) to the outlet box using the outlet box screws (J). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

1. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting strap using the green screw provided.

2. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall outlet box.

3. Attach the fixture wall plate over the mounting plate (I) by protruding the mounting screws through the mounting holes on the wall plate and securing with ball nut (H) until snug.

4. Place the large glass shade (F), round ring (E), small glass shade (D) and cushion ring (C) in this order over the socket (G). Then secure with socket ring (B) using socket ring tool (A).

5. Install the bulb in accordance with fixture’s specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!) (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the juction box and test the fixture
