Product Information
The product model is 4173-249/-66A. It is a hanging fixture that requires electrical installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- WARNING! Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker to avoid electric shock.
- Assembling the Fixture:
- Remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in
Fig.1
. - Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
- Hanging the Fixture:
- Thread all thread (E) into the ceiling loop (H) until snug.
- Thread hex nut (D) onto all thread (E). Then place the lock washer (C) over the end of all threads (E).
- Thread the other end of all thread (E) with loop (H) into a mounting bar (A) until snug.
- Take the mounting bar (A) assembly and mount it to the ceiling junction box using the provided mounting screws (B).
- Connecting the Fixture Wires:
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in
Fig. 3
, ensuring that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting bar (A) using the green screw provided. - After the wires are connected, carefully tuck them inside the junction box.
- Completing the Installation:
- Raise the canopy (F) to the ceiling and thread the screw collar ring (G) onto the ceiling loop (H) protruding through the canopy.
- Place the diffuser (V) onto the fixture body (X) and secure it by bending the small glass holder tabs (W).
- Thread the pipe (P) onto the all thread (Q).
- Place the hook (M) of the rods (N) into loop (O), then loop (L) of the rods (N) into hook (K).
- Install three medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) by the fixture specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE!
- Secure glass diffusers (T) to a metal plate (U) with screws (R) and plastic washers (S).
Your installation is now complete. Return the power to the junction box and test the fixture.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 2)

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
HANGING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1) -
Thread all thread (E) into the ceiling loop (H) until snug.

Thread hex nut (D) onto all thread (E). Then place the ock washer (C) over the end of all threads (E).

Thread the other end of all thread (E) with loop (H) into a mounting bar (A) until snug.

Take the mounting bar (A) assembly and mount it to the ceiling junction box with the mounting screws (B) (Size:#8-32*0.6” L). The side of the mounting bar marked “GND” must face out.

Using proper chain pliers open one link of chain (I) and connect it to fixture loop (J).

By measuring, determine a correct number of links needed for the desired hanging height.

Lace the fixture wires through the chain links and slip the screw collar ring (G) and canopy (F) over the chain.

Open one link of the other end of the chain (I) and connect it to the ceiling loop (H).

Feed the fixture wires through the ceiling loop (H) and all thread (E) and pull until taut.
**CONNECTING THE WIRES
**

- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting bar (A) using the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION
(Fig.2)
- Raise canopy (F) to the ceiling. Raise the screw collar ring (G) and thread onto the ceiling loop (H) protruding through the canopy (F). (Fig.1)
- Place diffuser (V) onto the fixture body (X) and secure by bending the small glass holder tabs (W).
- Thread the pipe (P) onto the all thread (Q).
- Place the hook (M) of the rods (N) into loop (O). Then loop (L) of the rods (N) into a hook (K).
- Install (3) three medium base bulbs up to 100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) by the fixture specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
- Secure glass diffusers (T) to a metal plate (U) with screws (R) and plastic washes (S).
Your installation is now complete. Return the power to the junction box and test the fixture.
