SAFETY MEASURES

Dear Customer,
thank you for purchasing a Neon Merino shaver for clothes and materials. Before using the devices, please read and save these instructions.

Intended use
The fabric shaver is intended to remove knots and lint from clothes and furniture. This product is designed for private household use only. The manufacturer is not liable to damage caused by improper use.

Before using the device read the instructions carefully. Keep the manual in case of need of additional information.

ATTENTION! RISK OF INJURY.

  1. This product is intended to be used by adults and children of 8 years or older. If in need of assistance, help those with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities.
  2. The product is intended for home use. Do not use the product for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
  3. Do not immerse the device in water and do not clean it with aggressive cleaning agents.
  4. Note: THIS IS NOT A TOY.
  5.  Never use the product without the lint container or the blade cover in place.
  6. Do not touch the crop blades while the product is switched on!
  7. Do not use the shaver if the blades are damaged. 8. Do not put strong pressure onto the crop blades when in use.
  8. RISK OF INJURY – blades are sharp, handle with care.
  9. Do not oil or grease the blades – risk of spillage.

BATTERY SAFETY

  1. ATTENTION! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. If swallowed seek immedia- te medical attention.

  2. RISK OF EXPLOSION. Do not short-circuit or open the batteries/rechargeable batteries, risk of explosion or fire.

  3. Do not put the batteries/rechargeable batteries in fire or water. 4. Do not put pressure on the batteries.

  4. ATTENTION! RISK OF LEAKAGE. Avoid direct sunlight, radiation, and extreme environmental conditions and temperatures. 6. In case of leakage, avoid contact with skin, eyes and nose and mouth. If contact with leaked batteries occurs, rinse with water and seek immediate medical attention.

  5. Wear protective gloves at all times in case of contact with leakedbattery substance.

  6. If leakage occurs, immediately remove batteries/ rechargeable batteries from the device.

USING THE DEVICE

Note: before first use remove all packaging contents from the product.

  1. Place the fabric onto a clean and even surface.
  2. Switch the product on by pressing the ON/OFF power button.
  3. Face the blade downwards, apply light pressure, and move it using repeated, circular movements over the surface of the fabric.
  4. Switch the device off by pressing ON/OFF power button.

Note : the product will shut off automatically when screwing off the blade cover.

CLEANING AFTER USE

  1. Make sure the device is switched off before cleaning.
  2. Pull off the protection cap and remove the lint container by turning it coun- ter-clockwise and then the blade cover with the same motion.
  3. Pull off the blades carefully and brush the lint and fluff remnants from the blades with the cleaning brush. 4. ATTENTION! When removing the lint and fluff remnants be careful not to damage the blades.
  4. DO NOT clean the product with water. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
  5. Keep the device dry. Store with the protection cap.

DISPOSAL

  1. The product is made from recyclable materials, which may be disposed at local recycling facilities. Contact your local disposal authority for more details of how to dispose your worn-out product.
  2. To help protect the environment please dispose of the device properly.
  3. Product components are separately marked for recycling with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) which indicate plastics 1-7/ paper and fireboard 20- 22/composite materials 80 – 98.
  4. Faulty or used batteries/rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or the product to the available collection points.
  5. DANGER! Incorrect disposal of batteries can cause environmental damage.
  6. Batteries/rechargeable batteries cannot be disposed with domestic waste, they may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. Chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
